Why would where you live be a great place to live?

If someone asked you what is it about your city, state or country, that makes it a good place to move to for a new start, what would you tell them? I live in Oklahoma, and we are listed in a CNN poll as the 10th lowest city for unemployment. Our taxes are not too bad. The people here for the most part are friendly. Our winters here are tolerable, and there are several beautiful things to see, as you travel throughout the state. We have mountains – lakes and even a ‘desert’ within our state. Prices on homes aren’t too bad either. Some garden items can be replanted and make a second crop. So what are the good things about where you live?

I live in Milwaukee. It is a great place because of the people in my opinion. A ton of nice people who share a great sense of community is mostly all I have ever seen. It is the perfect blend of being not too large of a city and not too small. There is a lot always going on including Summerfest during the Summer which is said to be the largest music festival in the world. The sports fan are beyond loyal no matter how the teams are doing. You have lake Michigan with a lot of smaller lakes inland with a lot of hunting and fishing everywhere. It is a quiet, yet fun place to live. Oklahoma does sound nice also. Thank you for sharing. :)

I live on an island called ChongMing, which belongs to Shanghai China.ChongMing is my hometown and it is also the third largest island in China.I have lived there for 20 years.People there are all friendly and talktive. And it doesn't like those big cities, which are full of noise and business. What you can see most are countryroads and farmers with smell. Many people come there because they wanna relax themselves and be free from everyday's hard work.2010 EXPO will be held in Shanghai. As a member of my hometown,i really hope more people can know this beautiful island...

Honestly... there's nothing good about where I live at the moment! I wish there were though... I'd be less tempted to daydream about being back in Alabama all of the time xD
