people from pakistan arent that bad as i have friends who work their. if they let afghanistan people to stay in thier place its because they consider them as brother coz in muslim once your a muslim they help each other. i guess those people who did this kind of crime are afghan people as we know how unsecure their place up to now. and talibans are not from pakistan. they just adopted those people whose in need that was also victim from afghanistan.

Terrorism is the biggest worry for all the world at the moment. Every country has suffered. I tell you one thing, these terrorists aren't even true to their religions. Religion for them is just a tool to fight for power. They use religion to turn people against those who are opposing them. They are not true to their own religion.. In any case, it is always said that terrorism has no religion at all... You've related one incident here... there have been many such happenings. It seems as if the life of an individual has no value anymore. They kill people- innocent people! and we do nothign about it. I feel ashamed to say that my country which has suffered the most, has not acted properly towards this problem. Our Govt. has been playing dumb all the time. Recently, a bomb blast occured in Pune- the city I reside in. It killed many innocents. Many got severe injuries, which may take a lot of time to heal. But the wound that our minds have got will never be healed. There is only one thing that can be done! All the countries who're suffering from this or that kind of terrorism, should unite and begin a full-fledged war. It won't take more than a year to clear all the terrorist from the earth... Hope some wise people will read this... Happy lotting!

Well.. You're not the first who remembers the unfortunate journlist. I have taken this as a nick name only. :) For terrorists, religion is nothing and as we have seen recently they don't hesitate to kill the people from their own religion too. So it is not possible that they are fighting for some religion. This is the work of those, who have nothing to do and yet want to rule. These shameless people use religious emotions, misintrepret what has been written in holy books and bring those misinterpreted things in front of people. I tell you, if these terrorists aren't wiped off the face of the earth, they'll become a terrible danger soon... May God protect us!

It never has made sense to me. Unfortunately it has been going on since the beginning of time. Many people feel a need to strongly believe in. Whether that is something constructive or something destructive. Those feelings can manifest themselves into a fanaticism.

Hi, No killing for the sake of anything doesn't make any sense to me. Whether it religion, war, riots, or just for the fun of it, like some psychopaths do enjoy. But if I am not wrong that news you mentioned, isn't it that three of them were abducted for the sake of money and one of them was actually beheaded. They were abducted from Peshawar pakistan and later the pakistani military rescued them. Its a horrible story. A shame to mankind.

thats scary but i dont think they will kill those non muslim only because they are not muslim people. as i have friend work in pakistan and his not even muslim but people their accept him. so maybe it depends if those people did something wrong or not. and i know pakistani are not bad people at all. maybe those are from afghanistan as we all know afghanistan is still not safe even up to now.

When I was in my teens, I started to study various religions to see if Christianity was really meant for me. I can't remember a lot of what I read, but I don't think I saw in any religion that it was ok/required to kill. So no, killing for religious purposes makes no sense. If you get right down to it, it's all about power...not religion.

What a rude persons they are?? Every person will have a different views about the religion.. We cannot compel a person to join in his community.. its a terrorism.. Even some peoples don't believe in the religions.. What those rude people will for them?? This can be stopped only by giving a proper knowledge to them.. or else this will be continued......

First of all those terrorists are neither pakistani nor aafgani, they r all talibani. Both govt have lost their capacities of control over talibani. How n Whatever the talibani establish themselves, its not a matter at all. They misinterpret the word 'mujhahidin' or 'islam'. Both words are against of terrorism so they have a namesake of islam n dont forget that terrorist has no religion. Perhaps they have done that act to pay attention from all islams around the world n they dont know that real islamic person never support this barbaric act.

Religion has caused so much pain in the past, and it still does. Now muslims kill people from other religions, and during centuries christians have tortured and killed non christians. It doesn't make any sense for me. I think that the human beings should learn to respect others, instead of forcing their beliefs, and killing the ones that won't start thinking like them.

hi! NO, it doesn't make any sense to me, because if there is really God, I don't think he will welcome and open the Heaven's doors for people who have killed other innocent people. I just couldn't understand people like Jihad- the people who wage the "holy war" of the mUslims. And what for? for the sake of religion, for the sake of God??? no, i think it is for the sake of Devil, because God don't and wouldn't force people to kill each other!

Don't make me wrong, only Islam are the religion do this kind of principles of faith. They will kill for the sake of faith. I know that Christian and Islam have a big difference in doctrines and how to expand their faith. For me, you don't need to kill somebody just to make sure that your religion is powerful. As stated in Bible, God is peace, meekness, love, and humility. I disagree to that kind of faith and beliefs.

Mankind has used religion in a bad way since the begining of time. And a lot of people who think themdselves as religious are really offenders of the worst kind. If they also have power, they do more harm. Have you chequed some posts about religion here at mylot? It´s a virtual place but if you talk about politics or religion you could have trouble. It is worst in real life because the weapons are real.

Hi Tuyakiki! The world is filled with people who cannot tolerate others. And they think only they are right. Or they think it is right to kill someone for some reasons that only they think are valid. Mostly they are misguided but they think they are right. But there are some who do such things even though they believe it is wrong to do so. Not understanding religion or misunderstanding religion is the cause of so many problems throughout history. It can end only when there is just one religion 'humanity' and no other religion exists. But no one is ready to give up the religion or caste system. So the problems will be there as long as there are differences in the beliefs and understanding. All religions propose peace and good for mankind but due to ignorance people have changed religion according to their needs. At least they interpret religion in such a way that their actions can be justified! And to an extend the economic, social, and political systems are also responsible for Terrorism. If the matter is not handled properly the situation might go out of hand and create a lot of problems in future.

They are killing not for the sake of religion, but they are doing for the sake of money. Those who escaped revealed two things about them. While they were held captives they never saw them offering Namaz (Muslim prayer) and besides, they were talking about money all the time. They are bandits and the indulge in this sort of activities only for the same of money and not for the sake of religion. Worst course of anomaly is that they they Pakistan's ISI's tacit approval and their support.

i dont think there is any religion that allow killing except for the defence. religion should be the one that lead to peace and harmony.
