Hi paradisesuns,
Here is a link you might find useful, it is from a fellow Ebayer. The Ebay forums are full of great info, so also check them.
This info might be a little out of date but you can not go far wrong with it.

Though as the previous poster has said Ebay is not really seller friendly anymore, especially for the small seller.
Good luck in any case

I used to be very busy on eBay both as a buyer and as a seller. These days, however, the way they have hiked up their fees and changed their treatment of sellers, I can't see how it will survive now.
If you are serious about selling on eBay then I would suggest :-
1. Make sure your photographs are clear and detailed
2. Write a detailed description, noting any defects where appropriate
3. Include detailed measurements
4. Make sure your title is clear and concise
and good luck

I am not familiar with it at all but I see from the response below too that it is losing ground. All good things come to an end I guess.

I do. I have a lincensed acct where I sell new clothes - for ladies. And in my 2nd acct. is private, i sell items we dont need at home, outgrown clothes form daughter and some shoes i dont like. I find it helpful, gives me enough pocket money.
And like other works, it needs your time. Time to take pictures of your items, dwnload to pc, attach to ebay item. We don't expect to get cash without lifting a finger. When you have the time and the patience, you'll be going fine with ebay selling.
