Have you ever said the word "stupid" to yourself or to other people? Is there any words that you hate to hear from other people? What do you usually do when you hear those words?

hi, my mom never allowed us girls to call each other stupid when we were growing up & she was right. my mom & dad never called us stupid either. i raised my girls not to say it to each other or anyone else. i don't like to hear cussing, especially when someone takes God's name in vain. if they cuss in my home, i ask them not to use that kind of language in my house. if i am somewhere else, i just ignore it, but in ur home u have the right to tell them to stop doing anything u don't like.

That's good for you and your family, you are indeed a very good parents. Home is the best place to teach our children what is right and good. There we can control and shape them to be a better and good person. Outside we can't control people whatever they said to us whether we like it or not we have to accept it. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

i avoid to say any bad words to other people as i dont want them to do the same to me. but sometimes i say "im so stupid" to myself specially if did something that really stupid. i keep on telling myself how stupid i am coz i never use my mind and etc. sometimes it works coz the next time i really see to it to think many times before i do nor choose something nor someone specially about the boyfriend thing..

When it comes to relationship we often end up being stupid as we never think only feel. And it's natural thing as there are other people who are stupid in love. Yeah, it could be good to always remind our self to think, learn and not act stupid thing anymore. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

of course I ever said that dirty word to myself. but fortunately I never said that to other people. I think it's the rudest word to say to others (even an idiot doesn't like if someone said he/she is stupid!). and as a teacher, I forbid this word spoken in my class. I will be very angry if there's one of my student said this word to his friend. and frankly, I will be very2 upset too if there's someone tell me that I'm stupid. I think every one of us has our own strength and weakness, but nobody will accept if she/he told by another that he/she is stupid.

Me, either sometimes said that word to myself especially when I make an honest mistakes. But to others never, maybe on my mind but in action, I don't think I could do that, some people accept being called as silly but never stupid. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

It's funny that you use the word stupid as an example of a word that you hate. Two words that I really do not like are stupid and shut up. (ok guess technically that is 3 words as shut up is not one word). In fact, I disliked these words so much that when my kids were little they thought that stupid and shut up were swear words!

Hey careguarden! I must admit that I hate to say the word "stupid",
but, I know that I am definitely at fault for saying it at times
and I wish that I wouldn't! My boyfriend isn't exactly the smartest
person I have ever met. He didn't finish school and has trouble
with words and I am always having to correct him and trying to
"teach" him. I try to do it the nicest way that I can so that he
will learn the words and use them correctly and not try to make
him feel badly in the process! But, every now and then I do kiddingly
say that he is stupid and then I want to kick myself! He just sometimes
picks on me about my cleaning skills and then I go on attack mode with
him! He doesn't care how he hurts me when he says my home is filthy
and finds fault after I polish furniture which does hurt me because
I do the best I can! He is obsessive compulsive when it comes to cleaning
and gives everything I do the "white glove test"! So sometimes I just
get so angry I call him stupid! I guess we all have our limits now don't
we!

i don't deny that i often used that words to my self and people around me when they are annoying me or making me angry.
i know that is rude, but there is something inside of me want to say that words and it feels like relieving when i say it.

Hi Care,
i think nobody will ever love that word. i hate hearing it too and will be hard for me to say it. i don't have any right to judge somebody and tell him/her that word.

Calling someone stupid is a huge insult. I never use it. You crush someone's self esteem when you say it. I don't respond to it.
