Underlying the concept of semantic web is the idea that syntax can be used, in place of, or to represent semantics but it cannot

There is no site for this, not everything is on the web. This is called reason.

The word semantics according to dictionary means, “The study of language meaning”; or more simply, “The meaning of a word, phrase, sentence, or text”.
The Semantic Web is about two things. It is about common formats for integration and combination of data drawn from diverse sources. Where on the original Web mainly concentrated on the interchange of documents. It is also about language for recording how the data relates to real world objects. That allows a person, or a machine, to start in one database, and then move through an unending set of databases, not just connected by wires but by being about the same thing.
In what way our mind is different to a computer. Our mind is able to analyze all the data available to it. It can analyze the content, the links, and the transactions. However, the computer is not able to do this. They are now trying to incorporate a kind of artificial intelligence into the computer, which would enable computer to handle our day-to-day mechanisms of trade, bureaucracy and even our daily lives. Does it mean we would use our minds less and less than we did before? No, we must see computer as an extension of our mind. A calculator does not let us forget how to calculate. We now have more time for more complex calculation; we were unable to do due to our preoccupation.
How mind is able to analyze the data. Let us see how mind analyzes a sentence. It deduces meaning of each word, and connects the most appropriate meaning. If it does not have an answer, it would draw more meanings and then reconnect the most appropriate meaning. It would continue to do so, until it finds a legitimate answer. It is nothing but a kind of artificial intelligence. Once incorporated in computers the semantic web integrate across a huge space of unbelievable data recourse.

From what I see, semantic web supposedly allows you to do things that you can't do now on the web. It seems as if the web will be an organism that caters to the demands of all who use it. Here is a wiki link (I put in spaces) for Semantic Web:
