I consider myself a gamer but not probably one that could have made records, just the typical videogame addict once upon a time.I play Role playing games now mostly, and by mostly meaning just around once a week because I barely have the time to play now or maybe I just lost interest. I used to play versus fighting games and was considerably good at it, console and arcade. I played Tekken and can proudly say I play it good, in playstation1, that was Tekken 3. Now I still have my Playstation 2 console with me and all Tekken games(tekken 4, tag, 5) available for that console is in my hard disk, as my console is modded to play via hard disk drive and occasionally I play against my younger brothers and cousins. I just realized that I still got the moves, and really still good at Tekken 5...So how about you?Any video games you used to play good when you were young and could still play it good now?

I don't believe that one's gaming skills can degrade with time... I play CS regularly... NFS and Call of Duty are the ones which I miss and haven't played those for quite a while. But I am sure that with a little practise I'll be good at it once again!!! :)
Have a good time!

It probably has something to do with reflexes as one grows older, it might not be as quick and responsive as it used to be, so there's a chance of degradation of skills and performance. I used to be so good in Quake 2 but I don't do so good in counter strike.

Oh Quake has always been my favorite... I have played Quake III... Could never understand Quake 4 though... I still play CS- condition zero.. It is wonderful to complete all the missions one after one. Do you like Call of Duty??? It is also a wonderful game...

I'm the kind of person who can pick up a game quickly, but then rarely gets much better at it. In fighting games I do as well button-mashing as I do planning and working at it. Role-playing games have always been my favorite, in any case, and generally it's the story you work at there so I'm not so hopeless in these. If I leave a game for a long time I may have to play a few rounds/battles before I'm back where I was before, but it's not like I have to relearn the whole thing. A little refresher will do.

Haha! I've never broken a controller, thankfully, but I've worn myself out in minutes trying so hard sometimes. My sister is the fighting game addict of our household, but whenever she gets stuck she'll ask me to come button-mash for her to see if I'll have better luck. And it's a pleasure to meet thee as well! ^_^

It's strange because I have always been naturally good at videogames. I seem to be able to just pick them up and adapt to them really quick. However, I wouldn't consider myself "the best of the best" for any specific type of videogame.

I have never been a big fan of videogames, neither skilled at it. However, I like to play sometimes just for fan, to entertain me or for a few laughs. I don't really have favourite games, as I don't play often enough to get a liking in some game more than other.

Tekken is such a good game. I started playing Tekken 3 and have played Tekken Tag, Tekken 4, Tekken Dark Resurrection, and Tekken 5. this reminds me to get Tekken 6. lol.. my fav fighting game. even more than Street Fighter
i probably was not extremely good with games when i was little. my brothers always beat me. but when i was in uni i really got into gaming and compete in tourneys and stuff. but even when i think i am good enough there is always someone who is better.
now that im married i kinda tuned down my gaming habit. only have a PSP now but they have good enough games. but i do play old retro games through emulators and i think those games used to be really hard :P
