Which is worse, wife-beating or husband-beating?

none. both are worst on every level. no one has the right to hurt their partner physically even verbally and mentally. being in a relationship means that you are ready to compromise if in case there will be a problem. everything can be talked out smoothly and in a civilized manner. people should hold their hot temper and cool off before talking about what really happened. in that way even in a heated conversation since both of you have already cooled off your mind is clear and you can talk things out the way it should be.

I find both cases very, very bad and unacceptable. Perhaps slightly worse is wife beating. Women are considered to be a "weaker side", so I think that no man should raise a hand against a woman. But I also think that wives don't have any right to beat their husband too. Every conflict should be solved with words, not fists.

both are bad, we should never raise our hands to our spouce out of anger. but men beating women is far worst. as a man we arent suppose to hit female no matter what. men need to walk away.

i never heard a wife beating her husband as most of the time its the husband who beat their wives. and i dont think the husband will allow his wife to just beat him, maybe a slap but not to the point of beat him unless shes a boxer or a wrestler or a lady bouncer. anyway, if theres any whose like that then better to quite with marriage and be free.

Husband who will hit his wife is very worst manner of a husband,its unethical to man to hit wife.Its reasonable or unreasonable its not right to hit a woman. And in any other case wife should not hit her husband too..Its very much shame to a man gets hit by a woman..In a relationship physical assault is really a very worst case to both party.And it should be tolerated. If husband loves his wife then..he will not even think of fighting.Just for fun he can do fight but not for real.Further he will not think of beating.Every family has problems.My mom and father also will fight but my father will never beat my mother.So it is not good to beat a women.And then a women beating her husband is very rare.I just seen in movies like that.So I don't know what to tell in wife beating the husband..

Hello dilipmiester :) kind of difficult discussion..not that it's hard to say if it's good or bad beating your wife or husband. I just don't think we have a right to beat someone at all. In my opinion, it doesn't matter at all who you are beating, the question is why do you do this? We are all human so how does one get the right to beat another one?

Both are condemnable. It is a relation of love a emotion. Where from the needs of beating comes there. Husband and wife are not ring master. And the family life is not a circus. So I think beating should be eliminated from family life.
