I am watching my Wings remind the kids from Chicago why they are the Wings. Had this game kept going the was it was I'm afraid to say our chance of hanging on to 8th was going to go up in smoke. Have you ever had to work really hard to come from behind to gain something that was very important? How did you do it? Maybe like the Wings, sometimes we have to remind ourselves of who we are and reach down deep?

Well I continually have to do this everyday because both of my children have special needs. If I did not reach deep everyday they would have a terrible quality of life. :)

Do you mean they won? Se what happens when I don't watch! I was late and I saw that The Hwaks had score 2 so I left . I even told my non My Lot Rew Wings buddy what I did. We both assumed they lost. They Won? Wow!
Coming from behind? Well sort of. I have ben a pessimist all my life until now. I have come up to being a recovering pessimist. I may never be an optimist but at least I don't see a hole at the bottom of that half empty/ half full glass.

This game has absolutely been a shocker. I thought the Blackhawks were on the right path to walking away with 2 points and digging Detroit deeper into the hole - but the Blackhawks fell apart... 5 goals in one period against one of the league's best teams...ouch.
This game isn't over yet and if there is a team that could erase this defecit, it is the Blackhawks, but the Wings definately took it to the Blackhawks.
When you are down, you definately have to focus, dig down deep and give it your all. You never know what the results may be. It doesn't matter how down you are, you are never out. Give it 100% and you'll see a positive outcome.
I can't think of a time other than sports where we've had to come from behind to gain something of importance.

The canucks have been the 'cardiac-come-from-behind' kids lately. They've started to have a knack for being down by a goal or two in the 2nd intermission, and then scoring goals to come from behind. Case in point, against the preds today.
Some sportscaster on the radio even has statistics about it for a number of games before the Olympic break.
Of course we take out fluke examples against the wings and the hawks their 2 previous games. They were ahead before the 3rd against Detroit, so that was a fluke. And they just crapped the bed against Chicago.

The wings did that a couple of years ago, save it all until the 3rd period and then would pull their cute little behinds out of the fire. I was almost afraid I had spoke too soon when it looked liked Howard was going to let the hawks have it back..never so glad in my life to see a clock run out!!
