Our end is not so far.....?

Oh for pete sake can we stop with the 2012 garbage please? there have been no less than 200+ discusions with 2012 disaster as the topic and it is all NONSENSE. there is no scientific basis to it, the Mayans didn't predict anything, their calander doesn't end, Nostradamus didn't predict anything either. Its all psudeo science babble. Earthquakes happen, period. It comes with living in an earthquake prone area.

hi there siliguri, Im ready for that, if it will happen in our country well I would say it is a judgement day. the least we can do now is to do our part.. it is so scary to think that it will be end of the world anytime, tragedies will happen anytime. ME I have faith in the most high and I believe he take care of us. There is a reason for everything.. God is in control.

I believe that our faith with god will save us from the coming world-end. I am also worried but if we pray together and ask for the second chance, he will save us. But if it is his will no one can stop him.

It's interesting, actually... I watched the movie 2012 in total disbelief, I've read everything about the Mayan calendar and all that. So far, I totally disagree. However, recent events are starting to point to the contrary. Haiti, then Chile, shortly after. But I am still in disbelief. The whole 2012 theory is based on the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar completing a cycle on December 21, 2012, the date according to the long count would be 13.0.0.0.0, the same as August 11, 3114 BC. A more significant date in my belief would be October 13, 4772, as the long count would be 1.0.0.0.0.0. Still not saying that it's the end of the world, but if the Mayans believed that the world would have ended before that, why would they have distance numbers and methods to represent future dates? Also, the 13th baktun is not considered very significant in Mayan predictions at all.

I am not sure what will happen, although I do think that between the weather and the natural disasters, things are changing fast. It is doing lots of damage and taking many lives. It is sad. All we can do is go on and try to live every day like it might be our last.

Well I can understand that when things like this happens the next thing to think is to tell that we are nearing our end. But, I guess we should not always think that way just prepare yourself if things like this happen in your place. I am not always trying to look for this kinds of ideas and be as positive as I can be. Negative thinking will just make me hopeless and not productive anymore so why dwell on that. If that theory is true at least I have used my last few days/months/year left.

We might not know when is the exact date but the end will surely come as it is written in the Bible. But we should not worry about what will happen for nothing can stop what is about to happen. What we have to do is to prepare ourselves so that we will be ready to face our Creator. We should do our part in sharing the Word while we still have the time to do it. Let us not let this chance to slip away from our hands. The world that we are living right now is only temporary and so with the material possessions that we have. Yes, the end is near and it will happen according to God's plan. I am not asking you to believe what I have written and I'm not saying that it is correct. I know there is an end to the earth. Everything has its own life. but I do not think that the world will end on 2012. No it will not end that soon. I am sure that it will take at least more than 100 years to vanish the earth. Friends, do not worry that earth is going to an end on 2012, its not true. But only you can do is love the earth. You help the nature to sustain and it will help you to survive. use solar panels, use CFL tubes, use as less electricity as possible. i suggest you all to use natural energy as source to everything. I am making a project on solar, if anyone has any idea on solar panels please share it with me too.
