Is it the movie advertisement, the story, the subject, the kids want to see it, the actors or you just come because you either have time to kill or just want to go out somewhere cheap along with your date.
What really drives you out from your home and come to a movie theater?

Avatar was to movie I watched together with my 3 nieces. We watched it in Mall of Asia near our home and we viewed it in 3D or was it in 4D? Anyway, we had a blast. It was heavy on the pocket because it was twice the expense but it was all worth it.

Hi Deejays! Watching movies with children or family will always be fun, as their enthusiasm level is very high, we laugh and enjoy the movie more because of the children, well regarding your pocket, I think the smile of your niece's faces was more valuable then any money spent, I think we both will agree on that. Good Luck & God Bless

It's been a long time since I visited the movie theater. I usually like to watch movies at home, sitting on my sofa, perhaps having some friends by my side. I like that cozy atmosphere. I think that the reasons, that would bring me to the theater would be following:
1) There would be a really good movie running in theaters
2) I would like to take my GF somewhere out, I find movie theaters a very good and classic way to go with a partner.

I have not really gone to the movie theater that often in quite some time. The fact that it is too far away and that the cost to go these days is a bit out of my budget is preventing me from deciding to make the trip out to the theater. However, at one time I did go on what was not a regular basis, but every so often and there were several things that brought me out there.
The previews for the movie tend to grab my interest a lot of the time. Often times when I see them on television, I might have gone, well that looks cool, I might have to go check this out. Unfortunately, many times, the movie did not match up. At other times, the movie did in fact match up to the quality and was in fact much better than I had imagined. Still something that looks exciting and something that I might like would bring me out.
Another thing is that it is based off of something that I enjoy. For instance, the last movie that I saw was the Dark Knight. Since I am a fan of Batman, I checked that one out. It also could be an actor that I go "hey this person was interesting and good in this movie, so let's see how they do in this one." That is another thing that might cause me to go on a rare occasion that I actually do out. Still, not at all these days but perhaps one day. Like I said, the nearest theater is rather far away and I might as well not go these days.

HI! NOTHING brings me to the cinema, because I don't go there very often, just because I prefer to watch movies at home, lying on the bed, eating some snack and paying nothing to it :) till now i have been at a cinema only several times with my girlfriend, and the only advantage of it is the wide huge screen and nothing more :) the quality is not better

Hi, you seriously seemed annoyed with the big screens, so it means you only enjoy watching movies at your home, with all your comforts and plenty of snacks, hmm everyone does have their own choices, take care

These days watching moves is an expensive affair and I wouldnt want to waste my hard earned money on something which I am going to regret later.I go to a theater only when I get positive feed back from trusted friends with similar taste. The other day I made the mistake of watching a third rate Hindi film which was highly recommended by some friends , later I came to know that they were fooling me lol, they had hated the film ...

I like watching movie, so if I have a chance usually I go to a cinema one a month. Mainly I like the feeling of siting in the cinema. also because the equipment they have I think I can have a better experience to enjoy the film.
However going to cinema is not cheap, so sometimes I'm hesitate to go. Luckily I have two websites that pay me cinema tickets. So I'm glad to use my free gifts to watch film every month.

I think for me storyline, producer and director, and actor are the main element which brings you to movie theater. I think songs are also another factor as I am music lover.

Hi Vaibhavi, I like songs too but just songs is not enough for me to take a drive to the movie, the teaser should be good, in order to attract people.

I love going to a movie theater because of the experience as a whole.
It is different than watching a movie at home (which i love doing too).
I usually pick watching comedies or funny romantic stories when i go to a movie theater but I love dramas too. It's lots of fun going to a a theater to watch a cartoon or kids movie...actually maybe I go to theaters to watch kids movies the most.It is so much fun! :D
