My elementary classmates and friends will have a sort of reunion next week. I want to come but the thing is I am hesitant because I might be the only one who looks different. Some of them are not that pretty but they have nice hair and they look rich. But because I just stays at home and take care of my kid, I might look a maid there. I don't have enough money to go to the salon for my hair. Because I will pay for the graduation of my kid.
I don't know but I always want my kid to buy something new everytime we go to the mall. An for me it is ok even if I don't have new clothes or shoes for myself.

i think this is a signal that it is time to spend a little on yourself. no good in any form would come out of the way you spend only for your kid. time would come when your mere physical appearance would be the sole reason why your kid is proud or the opposite of it to call you mommy and tell your friends about it. i also stay at home and am a mere advocate of the 5-6 pieces only of casual clothes and semi-formal clothes and with my former classmates, who happen to be rich kids by birth, i don't think i'd be left out. i seldom buy things but it is because of this i can get hold of quality pieces.

I'm still presentable. But of course, I can't be like others who go to the salon and have their hair fixed. That is the reason why I always have this ponytail. I can't go out without it because I am too conscious about my hair because it is not that shiny.
I don't know if I will meet them because until now I am hesitant. I think more hesitant than before.

i think a good eye knows real beauty from a cultured beauty. one doesn't need to go to the salon. we just have to maintain and take care of what we have. if you come to think of it the means of budgeting of women who go to the salon all the time is quite questionable. with the cost of grooming there and the knowledge that we need to save 10% of the family income with the 90% left divided equally to food, shelter and clothing those women always at the salon do not know how to handle money. pity their husbands and families.
