The Reason I'll Never Be Super-Active On MyLot!

The truth is in my region of the world PayPal doesn't allow you to receive payments. So any money, I make in Mylot would just remain in my Mylot account indefinitely & NEVER get cashed out! Imagine how many other members must be going through the same thing, or how many would-be members didn't bother to join because of it. I checked out PayPal & saw there are at least 60+ other countries that cannot receive funds into their accounts due to PayPal policy restrictions regardless of the fact that they have "Verified" PayPal accounts. This is why I think Mylot should create other payment options such as AlertPay & MoneyBookers.

Wow that must suck. You should send MyLot an email about that although I'm sure they'll change that soon anyway.

in the first place you are already aware that theres no way for you to received any payout in mylot via paypal and knowing theirs only 1 payout is accepted here and that paypal. so dont feel sorry nor sad if you cant get your earnings from here coz you already know your status in the first place. but then if you still want to continue then better to just enjoy yourself here and have friends with the other mylotter as maybe thats your bonus from mylot, if you found one great friend.

To help clarify the situation... I don't feel sorry or sad that I don't get earnings from MyLot because I expected this from the get-go. And I posted this discussion, so people will stop asking me why I post so infrequently.

Alot of it has to do with the way payment companies like paypal...and mylot for that matter... play it safe in abiding by united states federal laws. These companies do have to cover their arses to avoid risking prosecution. If you have the stomach for reading through nausiatingly mind numbing government information websites, here is a link that explains it a bit (in that annoying, round about, convoluded, difficult to understand government way of explaining things). http://www.treasury.gov/ofac and mylots faq section on it.. http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#1

hi thecreditor are you in INdia I have a lot of indian friends who have the same problem. I do not see why mylot cannot provide alternate pay sites for the countries that cannot use paypal. this is awful, its discriminatory and that really sucks in my eyes. Have you made some suggestions to mylot admins? perhaps if enough others that cannot use paypal complained to mylot admins they would do something about it, it seems to me it should be to mylots benefit myself.

Myself & countless others have in fact complained about the lack of options as well as requested on numerous occasions during the past 2 years, but it seems to fall on deaf ears... Either way, I joined this site being completely aware of this situation & never expected them to change their position, so it doesn't really affect me. I can proudly say that I did not join mylot to earn from them.

That must be a let down. I would expect illegal trade the problem. :( I also agree that they should make more payment options on MyLot for the sake of the users that can't get paid through a certain system
