Its really great.According to new rule for india.Now to send money to indian local bank,we need to verify our bank account.In your edit/add bank account page you can confirm your bank account.Paypal will send you 2 small amount of balance in your local bank, and you have to say what about is.Thus we can verify your bank account.And bingo,thus your paypal unverified account also get verified!! No Needs for credit cards.Not withdrawal limits.I did this processor.Now my account is verified.Love That!!

NO charge is needed rather they will send you a little balance to your local bank account like Rs.1 for the verification.

I tried to verify my bank account the same way as you have said and they even sent me emails saying they have sent two small deposits to my bank account.But till date nothing has been sent to my account.
I kept getting repeated reminders to confirm my bank account by filling in the amounts of the two sums they sent.In spite of updating my bank passbook I found nothing at all.That is when I lost my patience and finally contacted them as to why they keep sending reminders despite having NOT sent any deposits to my bank account.I am quoting the reply I got from their customer service representative:
"Thank you for contacting PayPal.
I apologize for the inconvenience that you have not yet received the
random deposit amounts to confirm your bank account. I would like to
inform you that we have not sent any random deposits since January 27,
2010 due to the bank transfer delay we have experienced in the past
weeks. Please note that we will be re-sending the random deposits soon
after the new withdrawal process is in place and fully functional.
I'll be glad to hear from you if you need clarification. Thank you for
choosing PayPal for your online payment needs. We appreciate your
business.

Another irritating thing is that I got another reminder from them today that they have sent deposits and that I must update them in my account.I have given up trying to contact them.What is the use if even after telling them of the problem they keep sending out the same emails?
