I thought it was really good this year. I love watching them but sometimes they are boring and way to long. I think the two hosts this year really helped. I loved loved loved that katherine beat james cameron. I'm so happy a woman won. I loved that sandra bullock won and I really liked that they had a person say nice things about the best actor/actress nominees. I was happy that no one movie really dominated all the categories. I enjoyed several movies this year, inglorious basterds, the blind side and avatar i was glad they all got some recognition.

I didn't watch the Academy Awards, although I meant to tune in for a little while. I was glad that Sandra Bullock won. And I was glad that Kathryn Bigelow won and became the first woman to ever win an Oscar for Best director. But forget her being a woman. I'd be happy for anyone who beat James Cameron. He may be a good movie maker, but the arrogance is what gets on my nerves.
