Dying Hair With Food Coloring?

I know it is possible to dye your hair with food coloring and I was thinking about doing so, but I don't know what color nor if it would show up or not. I wanted to dye it blue or maybe green. At the moment my hair is a pinkish/red color with a blonde streak, if you can't see my hair in my avatar picture that well, here is a better picture and a link http://i48.tinypic.com/14cxr3q.jpg Has anybody ever dyed their hair with food coloring? And what color would show up best on my hair without bleaching it. Blue or green?
