If you are not satisified with your cellphone, what is it?

Actually I am satisfied with my cellphone. If I have to say one shortcoming about it, then it is the battery because it runs out the power soon. But it can be understanding. If I don't often watch movies, surf the line or sometimes turn on the GPS, the power can last longer. But if one day there can be a long lasting battery, it will be perfect.

Hi youless, human wants can never be satisfied. I hope they will come up with heavy duty batteries in future. Since the cell phones are multi purpose and with the present strength of battery it could not accommodate that much of usage in a day.

For me it's also the battery. I really like phones that can stay powered for like two days. That way I won't have to worry when I'm on a trip and suddenly a call comes or important text messages arrives, because most weak batteries just won't allow you to make long calls or enjoy texting for long.

Hello youless. As I have mentioned before that I bought a Chinese brand cell phone called yitong. It is really excellent in its battery because it lasts as long as seventeen days, but I have to say that I use it to only answer and make phone calls every day and sometimes text messages. I love this cell phone very much and I am now using it together with my Samsum one. Enjoy yourself.

How often do you charge the battery on your cell phone? I used to charge the battery on my old cell phone every night. I was going to say if you charge the battery a little more often, it might last you longer. I don't need to charge the one on my new cell phone as much. It will making a dinking sound when the battery gets low. That's when I know i need to charge it. Kathy.

Oh, I see. I don't know how to help you in this case. I read another comment where you said you had five batteries. That's a lot of batteries, lol! Of course, it' none of my business but youall must have a lot of cell phones in your household. I don't know how we ever managed without them, myself. Kathy.

Hello my friend, I am more than satisfied with my cellphone, because I only use it in emergencies or just for texting, so I am just happy with a very basic model that serves my purpose, I don't like too many gadgets on the phone, for me a phone is just for texting and using if I have broken down in the car otherwise I wouldn't have one, for most of the time it sits on my computer desk, I don't particularly like them for me they are intrusive. I have a Nokia, I have always had Nokia phones because they are sooooo easy to use and very reliable.

Hi youless, very much unlike yours, my economical and simple cellphone doesn't have all the advanced features therefore I can't enjoy those wonderful mentioned facilities like what you usually enjoy on it. I just use it as a communication device. And I mostly depend on my laptop to surf web and to watch movies. Due to this the lifespan of my cellphone battery is still in its very good and lasting condition
I'm quite unsatisfied with its time shown on the lcd screen. It's too small and I could hardly see the display time clearly. Since I treat it as a device to keep contact with my loved ones and important people only so I prefer to wear a wrist watch to watch the time. At the moment I'm very satisfied with my cellphone as it serves its purpose very well
Happy posting!

I keep a spare battery for my phone, but have to say that so far I haven't had to use it. My phone seems to hold a charge quite well but then I only use the phone for making calls, not surfing the net or anything.

Back in the day when I had a working
cellphone (from AT&T, pay as you go),
I was very happy with the actual phone
part. But I could not access any of the
Internet features, such as my email
and could not watch movies or download
from online. So there were many limitations
with my phone, but since I had only purchased
the phone (for $10 US) to make and receive calls,
those limitations did not bother me.

My cellphone isn't big enough for me. i love big, wide sreen cellphones. but i think qwerty is more convenient . and the cellphone with both big screen and qwerty is very expensive. so i sacrifice the screen and choose the qwerty. but still i hope my phone screen can be bigger. :)
and i don't like the color of my phone. i like white but it's black. anyway i love my phone. much easier to use than my last one.

all phones are same becasue they server the main purpose of letting you talk to someone., whether it is cheap or expensive phone, they all are equal except for some features they have that not everyone use.
if you are not satisfied with phone it is just maybe becasue you want change or it is not working otherwise all phones will do the same thing for you

The only issue I have with my cell phone at the moment is the fact that the battery has started to deteriorate. It needs charging up every 12 hours, which as you can probably tell, does get annoying

youless,
As far as performance and quality of our little mobile device is concerned, I think there is no argument or thumbs down including that limited short lived battery life battery.
However, I have one major issue with all the cellphone makers including or rather the big names like Nokia, Samsung, LG, Sony Ericsson and what have you and that is how can they be innovative and backdated at the same time as far as the batteries are concerned.
Now, I am sure there's a lot of users including you are aware that there are solar chargeable batteries in the market and you can see it being used evidently with our calculators. I just do not see how is it so impossible for these cellphone makers not to see and develop it for their energy sapping mobile devices.
Is it really so hard for them? Or are they just plain "LAZY"?
IMO, I think both!

You reminded me of a cellphone which uses the cola as the power. It is very interesting to use the cola to create the electricity. Because you can buy the cola anywhere easily. But this kind of cellphone is still like an experiment now.

youless,
I do agree with you that the cola batter may be an unproven science but solar powered cells are.
If our normal inexpensive calculators and wrist watches could have them, I wonder how it is impossible with our costly energy sapping mobile devices?
I just blasted a feedback to Blackberry as I posted your reply here. I feel these phone makers should pull up their socks here.

i rarely text and rarely use it for call. i rarely receive messages from friends. and people. what a pity. ha ha. maybe that is the reason i don't need to charge my battery every day. i charged my phone i think every 3 days at least when it is just i am not using at all and just leave it on for some occassional texting and messages i receive. that is how i use my phone. and so i am not using a colored cellphone. i am using the non colored screen cellphone. it is just a basic phone. i am quite happy about it till now. what i like about is that i can easily take the back cover off if i wanna change the sim card. unlike the latest phones now it is hard to the cover off. seems very hard to open the back cover and seems it will break.

I have the miltary grade verizon Exilim phone with casio 5.1 megapixel camera. I have dropped my phone on pavement many times and no scratches. It is water proof and you can use it under water for 30min too. It takes great video as well.
