well when i was selling all the time i always had people try to send me fake payments or i'd get an email saying it was from western union and that i was sent a payment, but there was so much stuff misspelled you could tell it was a sad effort at trying to fool someone and i would never send anything unless i got a verified payment first.
There are a lot of sites that offer too good to be true ways to make money and if it looks too good to be true it usually is as almost all of those sites are big time scams and should be avoided at all costs, thankfully i have not invested any of my own money into any of these sites, because i would have to know for sure that they could be trusted before i would do that.
Most of those sites don't stay around too long, because once the word gets out about them then no one will be paying them any money so its kind of stupid for them to try to keep up the scam.
We have to be real careful about where we put in our time and our money as there are so many phony opportunities out there that are overwhelming the legitimate ones.

I get a lot of offers like that but I don't pay attention to them as long as I'm paying something to them. If it's free, I'll think about it. Just like here in myLot. It's only for free so I joined.
Fortunately, I still have not been cheated on net.

Well, many of us have to go through this baptism of experience of being scammed. I too had my fair share. However, I am more street wise now. I rather stick to businesses or ventures after I have done some due diligence on.
Having said this, there are still possibilites that scams may occur.

The basic rule is never to pay for any typing or writing task to any company claiming to have jobs available. If in a real life situation it is the person hiring us who gives us the money, then there is no real reason why it should be otherwise on the Internet.
There ar emany companies running similar scams. Fortunately I have not been cheated in this area of earning through the Internet.

It is unfortunate that you have been scammed and this has happened to a lot of peole which is why people are adviced not to give money to any company without verifying that they are legit. Avoid companies that ask you for money, unless you are certain that they would pay you.

One thing I learned on the net is that a good job will never let you pay them first, as you are working for them, why should you pay them?
But I did get cheated on Ebay, it was a motherboard seller with lots of hard to find stuff. Although Ebay had warned me about such too good to be true deals, I was too attracted to the gain than paying attention to the warnings.
As expected they got my money and disappered, leaving behind lines of angry feedbacks from scammed buyers like me. But in the end Paypal gave the money back, as the product was under buyer protection, it sure was one lesson learned there.
So if anything seems too good to be true, it probably isn't. And an employer should only pay you, not another way around.
