I believe that no matter how positive a person or determined could one be, giving up is would become a sudden preference. Giving up something which you believed has caused you much burden but on the other way around it is also your only way to achieve that one thing! I for now feels like giving up my studies - I'm tired. How should I deal with this?

theres a lot of people who wish to finished their study but the problem is they dont have enough money to pay for tuition fee. in my country, eduction is a must and if your not a college graduate then you cant find good or better job. i was able to finished 2 degree out of my own, work in the morning then i study at night, sometimes i study in the morning then i work at night just to have those degree so its not really hard for me to find new job. but if you want to stop only because your tired of it then think about it. school is only for few years then after that once you graduated you can have good paying job.

Everyone feels like giving up sometimes, when times are hard and things aren't going too well. In that situation then taking a short break is often a good idea, time to regain focus and momentum.

But, I am afraid that taking a moment of rest would waste a time. Although on the brighter side, we can never really tell what a reflection could do in changing our lives in the future.

I do my best to focus, and to really see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Yes doing my best is part of the game. And foreseeing the benefits ahead is a great motivation, an inspiration to continue in pursuing the dream.

hi friend, try to study on your own i mean don't take it like i have to study so i have to, try to concentrate and try to focus on your goal, sometimes studies makes us lazy towards it but we must not let that take over us, study hard dude, make everyone proud.

Thank you for the advice. Also, I have one problem. It's my study habits. Whenever I study, I don't last longer than 5-10 minutes. However much I try to take things seriously, I always end up dropping studying and find something which I find entertaining for some moment. What's sad is, I always regret these things if I do them. But I just cannot solve this long-time problem. This has existed since time immemorial, or was I just exaggerating - since high school.

hi uniqueorn, why are you tired already? just remember that education you have achieved in your life is forever yours. this cannot be taken away with you. personal belongings, cars, house etc. will be lost or be taken away, but education-this will never be robbed/taken from you. this is the only stuff you can bring with you for a lifetime. so dont give up, dont give up strive hard to study. make good of your studies and happy mylotting.

Thank you for your kind words draniembohol. Education is something I can acquire which will never be taken away, that's a fact. But here's a current fact too which makes me decide to give up the course I have right now and eventually look for something that would give me better knowledge at present and opportunities in the future. I have very incompetent teachers and lackluster classmates when it comes to academic area. I seem to be a failure whenever I don't work with a very competitive atmosphere. I view life positively but as I evaluated the efficiency of my work and productivity, its negative. I myself know that fact is downgrading my quality. I have to strive harder.

studying all the time certainly make us tired, but the reason for your giving up should not be this. when you find you are not interested in it at all,or you can't find you furture through your current studies, you can have a rest untill you find what you like. And last tip"just follow your heart".

Isn't it impractical too to make a rest. It is going to be a waste of time. You are certainly right pointing out one of the reasons why I'm tired of studying. My classmates are not competent enough. You know, competent people motivate me to strive further. They inspire however much I fall behind from them. The course I'm taking up is beautiful but I don't find the worth of its beauty from my teachers and my fellows. I don't get the atmosphere. That's why, "I have to follow my heart". I have to make a decision which would alter the boredom I feel with my course right now.
