Probably the most famous speech I ever listened to was Martin Luther King's "I have a dream." It's one of the most powerful, moving speeches I've ever heard. It touched my heart and soul, mostly because I feel the same things he was verbalizing. It's inspiring and hopeful. It's so sad to me though that this speech was given more than 40 years ago and not much has changed in the U.S. as far as race relations go. So much racism and prejudice. When are people ever going to realize that we're all the same...we're all human...we're all people just trying to make it in this world with the same goals of providing for our families, giving hope and a future to our children, living day by day. Sigh.......
