we don't know how will Yao go next season. maybe Houston Rockets could get a superstar just like Bosh or Studmire if they trade Yao. What do you think?

I think that Yao brings a lot of height, reputation and offence for the Houston Rockets. (when he was playing) Also, he attracts attention from Chinese fans, so the franchise earns money by using him as a product instead of a player, however I think that they are not getting their money's worth with Yao because of his weak body. Which is quite a pity, as a Chinese myself, I want to see him stay healthy and elevate his game, but I guess Chinese are just not made to play basketball with the big and strong Americans. (that was not an insult) So from that point of view, Rockets would like to get rid of him. However, other teams may not be willing to offer a top class inside player since Yao is highly possible to get injured again. Also, Rockets will not trade for player such as Amare and Bosh, because this Summer they will both be free agents that means they can leave their teams. Better to sign them then, and maybe trade Yao for some normal non-superstar kind of players which can support their game plan. Because even if he's healthy, he's too slow and won't fit into the Rocket's playing style - Speed. So in a way, Yao and the Rockets cannot be together, it's just how are they going to get rid of him.
I'm looking forward to this summer, free agency market! Will D-wade, Bosh, LBJ, Joe Johnson or Amare get together? We'll see.

Thanks for your reply! Yes this summer amzing will happens, superstars always the point which we focus on. But the amazing team cannot be Houston. cuz they don't have any salary space for these superstars this summer. They can trade next season so, let's look forward

in the nba. there are no franchise player anymore. player movements have become fluid. teams are looking for the right line-up or missing pieces in their line-up. yao is a superstar and can bring instant impact to the game. but his injury is causing hesitation and baggage for his value in the game. i wish he could stay healthy so that he can help the rockets go deeper into the playoffs.

I doubt. The real question for me is, who would take Yao if the Rockets would want to move him? The answer? No one, i suppose. For one, Yao has a hefty paycheck which is hard to take if you're an NBA team given the fact that he has not played for most of the season (and will not play until next season, hopefully). There is the fear of him having less impact on the team considering he had a serious injury. A Bosh or Amare trade is out of the question, both will be free agents come summer which is why they are impossible trades for Yao. I don't think Yao's value is the same as either guy as well because again Yao has doubtful knees from an injury. I think the Rockets will ride it out with Yao.
