Worst day of my life in this year.

First I want to give you some background information:
I live in israel, and as such- I am committed to serve in the Israeli army or to do some other National Service... I chose a national service that combines volunteering, working in a place such as school/kindergarden and studying.
Anyway, my national service program arranged a deal with the local collage Dean that allows me to enter a certain course as a 'free listener' (so I can choose whether I want to take it or not.)
On the way to the collage, I needed to take a bus, and as I was about to step into it- a woman behind me pushed me and yelled- "Get on it already you b!tch". Of course I just ignored her, there's no way I'm getting myself involved with such a person.
I sat at the back of the bus, and guess who sat next to me? that woman and her friend. The ride was hell. They were wrestling with eachother and she kept cursing the driver. Apparently- she also spit on him "because he was late and didn't open the doors fast enough!" as she said.
During the ride, her friend approached me and asked for the time... I answered, and then that psycho woman said "what are you talking with that b!tch? I pushed her when we went on the bus because she was too damn slow getting on it".
Hell of a ride...
I arrived to the collage, went in the classroom and waited for the teacher. When the teacher entered the class- I was the first thing she noticed.
"Are you with us?" she asked me. I told her yes, and that I was told to say that I am a free listener. Big mistake. "who told you to say that?" I started to feel uneasy... my guide told me to say that I was a free listener and that everything will be fine so I did not expect that. I told the teacher that I'm in a program that made a deal wh the Dean, and that my guide told me to say that. "who is your guide?" she continued to question me... I told her my guide's name. "is your guide from this collage?" I answered that yes, she is, and that she had a deal with the Dean and that I'll call her and let them talk on the phone. I took my phone out of my pocket and started dialing, and then that teacher started yelling at me and said that I got nerves and "how dare you?". I didn't know what to do, but I came to spend 3 and a half hours in that class, so no matter what, I decieded that I had to stay. the class started. Sure, at first I didn't understand what they were talking about as I did not study the previous semester, but soon I realized that I was getting it and that it wasn't very complicated so I figured I can home study whatever I missed in the last semester. (and trust me- I'm studying hella fast.)
The teacher started moving between the students and help them. When she reached me, she was all like- "you don't know this stuff, right?" I told her that I could home study it. Then she said "do yourself a favor and go home... you're wasting your time here." (she repeated this sentence a few times during the class)I ignored her and kept sitting there untill the class was over, after all- I came to check what that course was about and how's the teacher.
Well- the teacher may know what she's teaching, and she may be a Doctor or whatever, but she fail as a human being. She demoted me in front of the whole class without even knowing me.
My guide told me that she will ask the Dean to clarificate what happened and maybe ask the teacher to send me an apology letter. I sure hope that'll happen, but I decieded that I'm done with this collage and won't study in it even if it were for free.

well.. that's one heck of a bad day buddy.. but think of it this way.. it was not at all bad enough considering the other option you have at your disposal..Serve in the Army.. the one thing i can tell you is that getting reprimanded or demoted wouldn't be the worst experience in your life if you take the other option..

I don't know what you think they do in the army the whole day over here, but some of my friends that chose the army option- basically just sit in an office and serve coffee/tea to the people in charge.
The headline says the worst day of my life for THIS year. I had much worse days before, trust me...
Thanks for bringing your point of view, I appriciate it.

wow.. that's news for me.. i got some army friends who share their experiences with us lesser mortals.. so according to them, its not a walk in the park.. everyone had to go through much training to harden themselves, both physically and mentally... and the first year can be sort of hell... then you get used to it.. :)
... also, think of the worst experience in your life.. recall how awful you felt at that moment and thank god that this one wasn't as bad as that one.. enjoy mylotting :)

Had too many bad experiances, so I can't choose the worse... this moment wasn't a walk in the park, but I agree that it is minor when I compare it to other bad moments in my life.
By 'got some army friends' I assume you mean friends from Israel, so let me tell you something:
In our army- there is the fighting part, where the soldiers that fight, shoot, don't sleep at night are, and there is the "Jobnicks" part. In the second part- there are those who sit at the office and serve tea/coffee. (sure, there are more important jobs in this army part, but non of them is being put in danger like those from the fighting part.)
Enjoy mylotting as well!

Hi jimeny, I am sorry to hear all these unwarranted happenings occurred that day in your life. Maybe that day is just not your day and eveything seemed to go wrong. So when you look at yourself generally, you find that you can put up with a lot, and you till go on as if difficulties with which you met were chicken feed. It only shows that you have a tremendous capacity to withstand insults and the most traumatic conditions and come out of it standing upright.
