I haven't been to China but I've heard much about this country and I think it has one of the greatest culture of the world. Even tough I don't really like the political regime which rules the country in this moment, I think Chinese are a truly great people. They built the Great Wall, the only structure visible from the space, they invented the paper and the gunpowder and they had so many achievements before communists took the power. Please excuse me if you consider my anti-communist opinions offend you, but events like the massacre in Tiananmen Square and the events in Tibet (which, I must admit, were exaggerated) have ashamed this country with such a rich history and culture. Like any asian nation, China is very unique (even tough, most "westerns" consider the Chinese like the Japanese or Koreans) and I predict a future in which the Chinese can westernize and the Westerns also learn from the Chinese.

thanks for what you said about China's history and culture. like sarstiome,i also don't want you to see the truth.
what the majority says can represent the aspirations of people. that's also why communist party can lead the poor people to achieve victory . if you want to know the truth, you should come here and hear what the majority people say.i believe most newspapers have political or government purposes.
you are warmly welcomed!my friend.

I have to agree with you on most parts except Tibet event. Just one question, have you been there before or you just got information from newspaper or web-site?
Actually, Tibet independence is only dream of few people who used to be powerful Lama or aristocracy but common people.
If you are really interested, you should come and visit Tibet, ;)

The and largest country of the world is Chine. Highest populated country of the world is Chine. This is a technically developed country. This is the power center of the world. If there is any country in the world that can compete with USA in science, technology and power then that is China.

I totally agree with you. You need to live with them to really believe that what you see is what you get. If you see Chinese people in other countries as hardworking and so are they in their own land. Technologically growing every day and doing their best to manage population.

In my thought, China is the greatest country in the world. It has a long history and the long history really brings huge treasure staff though there also must be some bad effects. I insist that in the following years china will have some changes and be the No. 1 country all over the world.
