There are a lot of people among us who doesnt have time to go home anymore during lunch time to brush their teeth. Every one seems so busy at everything that even some of us would bring their toothbrushes everywhere they go. Some are really conscious about oral care and they would always brush their teeth after they eat, whether it is a meal or just some snacks. Do you always bring your toothbrush with you? If so, how often do you brush your teeth in one day? Why do you think its necessary for you to do that?

I always bring my toothbrush with my toothpaste wherever i go, its a part of my daily routine to brush my teeth every after meal, this all about oral hygiene and i never use any toothpaste aside from what I'm using for myself so toothbrush and toothpaste will go along together.
Happy myLotting!

Definitely! Brushing our teeth without a toothpaste is not tooth brushing at all. They go together. Just imagine brushing you teeth without toothpaste, that would be crazy. We wont be able to say we are taking care of our teeth when we dont use toothpaste when we brush.

my dentist also informed me that. even the pressure in brushing our teeth we need to be gentle too. to preserve the enamel of our teeth. at least i am on the normal and safe side as it relates to brushing my teeth.

I think three times a day is the normal number of times to brush your teeth. There are actually some who brush their teeth more than that and that's not good. They brush after they eat their meals, after they eat their snacks, etc. I think the reason for this is that the crown of the teeth get thinner of you brush it all the time. And it could cause for some teeth to decay because it doesnt have its protection anymore. This is just a theory by the way.

Hi there. I am also one of those conscious people before. I brush my teeth before 7 times a day. But I learned that too much fluoride could cause your teeth to decay faster. So after I learned about it, I just brush my teeth 4 times a day instead of 7. And yes I always do bring my toothbrush(a spare brush aside from the one I had at home). It is always on my kit.

Hello p3ks626 :) I only brush my teeth twice a day. After the meal or some snacks all I do is take some chewing gum. So I don't bring my toothbrush everywhere I go. but I usually have one in my car :)) sounds silly? :) it's just that sometimes it happens, that I stay somewhere for the night. At my friends house or something like that. If I had to buy a new toothbrush everytime I would have hundreds of them :)

Its always good to get ready of the things that you are suppose to have. What would you do to them if you have over a hundred toothbrushes. Give it to people who doesnt have their own? Whether we bring our toothbrush or not, the most important thing that we can do is take care of our teeth the right way. Because too much brushing is also not very good.

Only when you travel but if you have to go somewhere near like the mall or your work place, do you bring your toothbrush? Because I dont bring mine, I can always brush my teeth when I arrive home and I usually just brush my teeth two times a day. I think its also not very good to brush for more that three times.

Maybe having a pretty smile in your case is important, maybe because of the things that you usually do in a day. I understand what you mean with people with horrible breath, its just so horrible and intolerable. Three times is also advisable. More than that is not good but you can always take some precautions.

When I know I will be out travelling, I will take with me my toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste with me so that I can maintain my oral hygiene whilst out on the road
However, if I am going somewhere nearby for the day, or if I am going to work, I will not bother, and just brush my teeth when I get back home

I think its okay to do that! But in my case I stay in my work place for 12 hours and I would have to eat lunch an dinner there. So I guess I really need to take care of my teeth. Oral hygiene is important for me especially I am a teacher. But I have observed that there are over 20 people in my work place and only 50% brushes their teeth after a meal. And most of them just wait for the time when they would have to go home and brush their teeth there.

No, I do not! I am mostly at home and if I am going away from home for a while, I take my tooth brush along with me as most people would do.. I think oral care also plays a pivotal role in one's personal hygiene!

Well, i dont carry my brush. I usually brush 2 a day. Morning and night thats all. Lunch times no, i dont do or i never think of it. Night i always brush coz i eat enough stuffs before to bed. But nothing wrong in carrying brush, taking much concern about the oral is always good. Teeth is language!

I think that's the dentist's advice about brushing your teeth. Brushing your teeth is good but brushing it too much is not good also. Its ideal to brush before going to bed and when you wake up in the morning. I think some of us are just really conscious about their teeth that's why they always carry their toothbrush around.

I do! I think 3 to 5 times a day. It adds confidence in me knowing that I wont worry about bad breath and yellowish teeth. I just love the feeling of cleanliness.

Yes! I have a travel toothbrush in my toiletry case, which I bring wherever I go (it also has hand sanitizer, some makeup, tissues, etc..). When I don't brush my teeth for a couple of hours my mouth starts to feel funky and I really get this huge desire to brush my teeth. Most of the time I only go out of the house for work so it's quite common practice to brush your teeth there. On rare occasions when I go out for fun to the mall or movies or parties I don't really use my toothbrush, but since it's in the toiletry tote it still goes with me.

There are a lot of people doing that these days. They always brush their teeth like more than 3 times a day. I understand how you feel when you said that there are times that you feel like you really need to brush your teeth. It just feel so uncomfortable when you do not do it. I also bring a hand sanitizer with me everywhere I go. Just be careful with the water that you use when you brush your teeth places like the mall or at the movies. Sometimes the water could be dirty. So even if you always take care of your teeth and brush it most of the time, water should also be clean.

I don't really bring my tooth brush. I seldom brush my teeth.. maybe 1 or two times a day because i don't leave the house. But i like the feeling when i brush my teeth. give me a boost of confidence. Maybe i will exert more effort in brushing my teeth so that my wife will kiss me more...

I know what you mean. Its really nicer and a lot better if you brush your teeth before going to bed or when you have to go somewhere. I bet your wife is gonna love it more when you would brush your teeth. I hope she doesnt have to ask you to brush your teeth.
I cant believe it because you seldom brush your teeth, you actually sound like my brother. He only brushes his teeth when he remembers to do so.
