What to do you do first after turning on your computer?

i will open my mail... i have all my mail accounts configured to incredible mail and i love that dog animation which notifies me about the mails and i check my mails...

of course check email first,then i will read news online ,checking money on the bank,pay electric bill etc then lastly update anti virus .That all

The first thing that I do when I turn on my PC is to open my browser and the first site to open there is more often Wikipedia - I adore to search for useful information - I've got the feeling that one could find anything there. And right after that I play some music - that's the typical scenario for me turning on my PC.

My computer is rarely off. When I do start it, I usually go streight back to what i was doing before I had to shut it down. Check on boards, Or what ever might actually be happening online. Check certain e-mail accoundts if need be as well. Some almost never get checked though.

After turning on i do refresh my computer. Then i start to play some music. As i love to do work with nice music. Then i check my mails.

i go onto my internet and go on my yutube acc...then i just surf the web. then i log onto aim and chat with friends.

As for me, the first thing i will do when switch on my computer is, check my inbox for new emails. After i had completed checking through my emails, then i will start to visit one by one of the site, to update my earning. I seldom log-in into my yahoo messenger, since my friends all are busy in the morning. Only in the afternoon, then i started to log-in yahoo messenger, as some of my friends and relatives started to have some free time to chat with me. I am happy to be able to spend some time to online everyday.

When ever i turn on my pc. my first work is to check my mail. generally i find there a big number of junk mails and it is a big task then to find out the correct and genuine mail and then do what ever the work i want to do.

First thing i will do is to opened up my mail,and myLot will follow..lol..

well its a good question . whenever i switch on my system their are certain things it will do defaultly . it wil automatically login into my gtalk account and will start downloading if i have something in my torrent . then when i start to work i will just play some songs in winamp0 and will start surfing the internet . i will definitely go first to mylot check about the responses and then start doing other things .

hi! the first thing that I do when I switch on my laptop is to check my emails, because i receive important emails all the time and on some of them i must reply as fast as I can :) sometimes I also check for some new movies first or read some news online!

Hi mareeh, We do the same thing! I first sign in to yahoo messenger before anything else, and then to my mail to check some messages before I browse the regular sites I visit.
