In my life I never encountered any kind of superstitions that I heard from the old people, I don't know if until now there are people who believe on it, don't you?

I don't consider myself very superstitious but i guess i operate on the " why even find out " method. I don't go around smashing mirrors or hanging around with black cats. one thing I really do is that i dont trust odd numbers. Not sure why I was born on an odd number day and good things have happened to me in odd numbers years but i just don't trust them. Maybe its more that I like the uniformity of an even number. not sure but I always take 2 tic tacs instead of 1 just for good measure. thats just me though, I'm weird.

hi! WEll, I am not a very superstitious person, because I really try not to make my life harder than it is. I really try not to believe in all the things people like to say that will happen if I or someone else have/has done something wrong, or have seen a black cat, or about the things which happen on Friday 13th. I really think, that if we don't believe in all this foolishnesses nothing bad will happen to us and if you believe me, then try it and you will see i am right

Well, first I would like to say that Superstition is a credulous belief or notion, not based on reason, knowledge, or experience. The word is often used pejoratively to refer to folk beliefs deemed irrational. This leads to some superstitions being called "old wives' tales". It is also commonly applied to beliefs and practices surrounding luck, prophecy and spiritual beings, particularly the irrational belief that future events can be foretold by specific unrelated prior events.
But are there any superstitions that exist today that you believe could become facts tomorrow, or that you believe have more fact than fiction hidden in them? The word “superstition”, for instance, often conveys the characteristic of being a belief of some kind. Well, I think there's one important thing to note about superstitious beliefs, and that is that people generally think that the people who hold these beliefs are completely irrational or have low intelligence, or they're not quite there (they're mad or something) - and I don't think that's the case at all.

Yeah there are still people who believe in superstitions. I grew up not really believing in any but when I met my boy friend, well I sorta "adapted" his beliefs. He has this knock on wood gesture that he does every time he hears something ill-fated, or he doesn't want me crossing over him because it's bad luck. I haven't really proven the genuinity of any of these superstitions (yeah I guess that's why they're called SUPERSTITIONS), I don't believe them hundred percent either but I practice not doing them just because my boyfriend is so superstitious and paranoid!
