What was your first day of work like at your recent/current job?

Many people compare the first day of work to be like the first day of school. Having to find a seat at lunch and fit in? Happy hour the new milk time? Giving your background over and over to new people? What's your industry and expereince?

well my first job when i used to work for other people was pretty sucky to say the least. but now that i get to work at home and be my own boss it is great! it is so great to be self employed.

Oh, it was boring as hell, because I knew no one at the office LOL. I spent my time sitting and playing with my cellphone because I hadn't got my computer yet at that time. Yes, I ended up answering the same question over and over again that were asked by my co-worker LOL. Oh, and I work for the government as a tax administrator :)

It was exciting, but nerve-wracking at the same time. I have entered into a totally new career field for me. I left a career field that I had been involved in for 5 years. Now everything is very new and exiting.
