I was looking around mylot today on the hot discussions, interest discussions, friends discussions etc. I can see that these discussions have responses of over 10. I have posted at least 5 or more discussions and my highest response number is 3. How do you do it? Please tell me your secrets and tips. What do you talk about? One of the discussions was about 'Do you get annoyed when your fingernails are too long?' How can that discussion get over 10 responses?? Will you mylotters help me?

I must agree some discussion titles have made me laugh. I personally only start a discussion if I really want to say something. I would never start a discussion just for the sake of doing it. I am the same way when it comes to responding...I respond when I can add to the discussion...many times I go to respond to a question...but it was already answered so I leave it alone....who wants to read a whole slew of comments saying the same thing.
I wouldn't worry about the number of responses...it will all fall into place

I try to make the discussion have meaning. I don't try to think of discussions...they just pop into my head.

OK thank you, well I've posted a new discussion about something that really matters to me. Hope you enjoy it.

Do you mean you say something that is meaningful? I tend to start a discussion because I'm bored or not too sure what else to say. Do you think it will take more time to think of a really good discussion?
Thank you

Interesting, provoking, strange headline will be a good start.
Writing about something that interests more people other than yourself, and doing it in a short, right to the point manner.
It also helps to have a good English, and friends that sometimes press on the 'discussions started by friends' option.

OK I will put those headlines into mind. Well for one I know I am not great at writing with good English, I can talk sophisticated but when writing it, it is a different story.
What was your best discussion?

Oh right, yeah the title does sound very interesting. And thank you, my English thinks I'm terrible lol
