Certainly not,
I would not leave mylot while going to a university well i go to a college right not but still i manage to get time to come out here on mylot and respond to discussions.
What i think is that many people are here for a long time and spend close to 5-6 hours online .
Its the same case with me too.

Hello alilin
I started using mylot while i was in university(about 6 months ago) and im stiil at university. I try to be active but there are times were i cant be here(or dont feel like). There are times were im not around for weeks and there are times i visit mylot everyday. There are weeks(exam weeks) that i prefer to concentrate on the exams and i barely do other thing. When i was in vacations i am more active than when im on class.

Well, I am too old really to ever go back to school and such, but I have done things in my life that keep me quite busy and find less time to be active in here for sure. But for me since I do have a laptop, and a regular computer I can connect online and post any real chance I have some extra time as well. But personally it would be a choice left to you. Since computers are easier to get around unless you truly forget about this site most people do tend to try and come in occassionally as time permits as well.

Well I became a member here on mylot when I was studying in my university and I'm still in the university. It does make it hard because I don't really have too much time to come on here and spend hours upon hours and hours of participating on mylot. So I just try and participate for a couple of minutes when I am able to spare them like right now. I wasn't on here yesterday because I had too much work to do for school and I wanted to get everything done as early as possible so that I could go to sleep early. It didn't exactly go according to plan because I still went to sleep late doing homework.

It's been several years since I was in college, but I think that if I were to go back to school I would still spend at least some time here a few times a week. Of course, the amount of time that I would be able to spend on here would be highly dependent on how much homework and studying that I would have to do before I would have some free time. That said, I also know that even when you are studying there is still some time that is your time.

Hi Alilin,
I have been studying a part-time education for 3 years now, going to school 1 or 2 nights a week and working 3 up to 5 days next to my eduction. I still use mylot as it relaxes me and it's fun responding to my mylot friends. I do not do tasks that often anymore, but that's also because my favourite tasks aren't posted that much anymore. Before I started my education I would easily reach over $20 a month, but now I haven't had a payout in 3 months. I don't mind, I am here for fun and if I have a busy shedule for a couple of weeks I will be around less or not at all. If I have a holiday or more free time you will see mee around more.

Of course i would. It was during my college days that i joined mylot and i'd never thought it a waste of time or something as i was majoring in english and posting on mylot offered me a wonderful opportunity to improve english.

i am working and while at the office, i still find time to do mylot. there are also some students here that do mylot while studying. i guess they find mylot and people from here to be their companion in their studies, especially when they have problems or research to do, they can ask from here. just like studying with virtual tutor.

Well, people don't stop texting when they go to college, and mylot doesn't take more than a few minutes to post things. Not to mention, college is a great place to network and exchange ideas. You could post your referral link to all your classmates and discuss topics in mylot, even if it's about homework or a lesson.

Actually being in school right now, MyLot is something that I use as a tool to keep my brain sharp. It is allowing me to exercise my mind and allow it to think in completely different directions. I wished I had discovered in quite sooner. It has allowed me to get more relaxed with how much I think with everything. It is truly an excellent tool to help my mind be ready to excel.
Before I was on MyLot, I did rather well but I think there is just something different about my time spent on MyLot. I would be hesitant to get rid of it at this point. I am on here most days of the week. At least five days, maybe slightly more if my schedule will allow it. There are days where I need a break obviously, but those are days when I take a break from everything whether it be MyLot, School, or otherwise.
I can see why some people would not be on MyLot because their schedule would be swamped with school. I admit that myself, it is hard for me to balance MyLot around schoolwork. Schoolwork obviously is the highest priority as it should be. However, while I might spend far less time than I would like to otherwise on MyLot. Still I try and make time time, even if I have to be creative precisely when I can be on here.

i am a full time student in a medical academy. actually i am new at this site but since i am busy studying, i just use mylot when i got some free time, which is only around 30min to an hour a day. for me, mylot is just some fun activity you do during free time. study is the top priority.

I'm in college but I still use mylot. I think it's possible to be both a university student and a mylotter. I don't come onto mylot every day though like I would during the summer but whenever I have an extra minute or when I'm feeling stressed out, I'll come onto mylot and answer a feel discussions. When I first started my academic year, I didn't log on at all because I was so busy but when things quieted down, I'll go on mylot again. Studying comes first but mylot is important too

Well thats easy I'd just waite until after class to post, class typically ends after a few hours and now days we can post on our cellphones so it only takes a few seconds if we are not at home, so I would not leave mylot just because I was in school I'd just post at a different time thats all.

I feel that it is easy to balance this. It's like Facebook except it has more benefits besides the fact that you get to meet new people. You get to discuss life, make money, become a better writer, and learn about different people. There's always time to learn about others and I think that is something that is not focused on enough in the education system. You just need to learn to budget your time, but after a while you will be fine using myLot and attending a university or even working a job. If you spend 1-5 hours a day on here you'll be fine as long as you aren't a slow student.

nice question there alilin for I am leaving this april maybe 2nd week for my studies for my last year in college. I've been thinking, how could I manage my accounts including mylotting and I made blogs and websites. It's something that I would never know until I'm back at school. Probably, I will still be here but the difference is that I wouldn't be here as often. Maybe spend 1 hour every weekend or every 2nd week. I don't know as long as I have a free time and I'm not that busy and tired, I will be visiting the world wide web. I'm surely gonna miss everything here in myLot and other sites, but as they said, it's not yet an adieu, it's just a farewell!
