between sting&noise,which one do you more prefer?

One man's meat is another;s poison,or something to that effect..1st off, my wife being Japanese,hates the smell of durians, to her it smell like rotten meat or sewer,which is a shared opinion among many europeans or westerners not used to it but to us malaysian born or S.E asian ,the fruit isnt called king of fruits for no reason,to me it doesnt stink at all,but the more pungent is the smell,the fruit taste much better.but i have a problem with cheese,make me wanto puke when i smell it,or pungent TOFU,popular in hong kong but i (despite my cantonese ancestry)wouldnt go near it with a 10 ft pole. My point is i wouldnt say i hate stinks coz somethimes when i m abroad ,certain foul smells actually reminds me of home,smells to me ,unpleasant or good , trigger certain emotions or memories i have in my years of living, but as for noise,yes i whole heartedly agree,i hate loud noise,no difference if its music or other noises,it just annoys the heck out of me ..!
