So I am a big fan of tool and all. I love this song it is truly amazing. It is about a guy who is tripping on some form of hallucinogenic drug DMT LSD or something like that. He is out by Area 51 and is visited by an "X file being". The song may be hinting to the lead singers use of said drugs. Anyway he is scared by the being and the being calms him down and gives him the details of our ending. This is what I wanted to talk about. How would you feel being given the details of the worlds ending and not being able to remember because you where on some DMT/LSD when you where given the information. I have thought about it and I would feel amazingly scared that I may have failed the Human Race in some way maybe I was suppose to be able to warn someone of it and cause it not to happen. Maybe I would be able to change something. I would say listen to the song if you haven't and write a response. I think that it would be an interesting thing if an alien form another planet picked the "lowest of society" to tell the details of our ending. I think the message of this song is we need to take care of people and that we never know who might have the details of the ending of our world.

This song is one of my absolute favorites, most of the song is about how he tries so hard to remember what they said but he forgot is pen XD. In the beginning he mentions a Sky banana rips the sky wide open, something you would expect to see in a place like that. That guy must have been Trippin' Balls

First of all , the music is very good in this song , good guitar and druming ,it's like an action movie sound track. I don't like the vocals so much , it's not natural all the time. Many times I dream a dream and forget the most of it but I remember it was a very interesting one. Some may say the song doesn't have a meaning but I think tool is a very creative artist. Maybe he tries to tell us to take seriusly what ppl say about their dreams. I saw once a movie on TV and there was a story about a kid who told his mom he was kidnapped by eliens. He remembered how they put a flash light on his face and checked him. It was a trauma for this kid , he got abused by his dentist and his mom just thought her kid was talking nonesense about aliens. A good psychologist could discover that trauma the kid tried to explain.

This whole album "10000 Days" is sick. This song has profound insights like many songs of tool. This album is quite too strange to me. I know Tool is good for tripping but I keep on listenting to "La te ra lus", Just feel not ready yet for the insights in 10,000 Days..
