These are the words spoken today by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. My queation is. Should We the People be scared that our leaders (?) would even vote, let alone pass a bill that they do not know what is in it? I have no doubt that this is not representation, and have to wonder who would see this as leadership. Can Pelosi and all the other Democrats think that they are fixing anything, if they do not know what they are voting for. Please help me understand this.

It won't be the first time they voted on something without giving everyone time to read it. They don't care if we approve of it or want it. They just want to get it done. So far Obama's new version of the healthcare bill has not be publicly released...so none of know exactly what is in it. Congress does not even know.
Yet they want a vote.

I have a box with a pretty ribbon on it, trust I do. Now I am not going to let you know what is inside the box but go ahead and give me a hundred dollars for the box. Would you agree to my version of lets make a deal. I doubt it, but that is exactly the game the people in Washington D.C are playing with us. Why would Nancy care, she is not effect by this legislation, and she will never taste defeat in her San Francisco district.

I think Nancy Pelosi is competing with Harry Reid to see who can outdo Joe Biden in the weekly "quote most likely to appear in a Saturday Night Live skit" contest.
Reid thinks losing ONLY 36,000 jobs is good news. Biden declares that Vice President is an easy job because you don't have to do anything and now Pelosi wants us to bid on what's behind Door #3 and hope we get a workable fix for health care and that we don't end up with a lifetime supply of Turtle Wax instead.
If it wasn't so tragic, it would be funny. And yes, we the people should be afraid, very afraid. These guys aren't funny, they're dangerous.
