Solomn Kane - Personal Review

I've just been to see Solomn Kane, and I'm glad I did. Even though I know that it won't be world beating. It was, for me, one of those movies that was a pleasure to sit through. Having never read the books, I had a vague idea of the stories. But the tale of the movie was engaging. The world created during the movie was deep and it was set up well to continue the series. I won't go into specifics, but I'm curious if others that have seen it, enjoyed it also. Are there any fans of the books that have seen the movie?
