I'm personally a dog person all the way. I don't even really like cats. I love how dogs are alwayys friendly, and loyal. they truly are man's best friend. They will protect you, and often would even die for you. You can always pet them and they'll be friendly. Whereas cats often r grouchy, n you can only pet them when they WANT you to pet them. if not they will scratch up your face. n often even when they play, they end up scratching you. Cats cannot be trained either. Although cats seem to be more intelligent than some dogs, I prefer the loyalty and friendliness of dogs.
What about you? Dog or cat person? Why?

Quite frankly I have always been a cat person. I've had both dogs and cats in my lifetime, and while I don't hate dogs I'm more for cats. Cats can be loyal when they want to be, they can be trained as well. I'even trained mine to walk on a leash, sit in front of closed doors to be let in or out, wait for me. Jump in and out of the truck when we have to go somewhere, and sometimes come when called.
I like that cats can have an independent nature about them which comes in handy a lot of the time too. because sometimes that's real important.

This is an easy one, dogs all the way. There are a couple reasons I don't like cats. For one, I'm allergic to them and feel a bit sick when I'm around them for any period of time. Secondly, I don't like how they crawl on EVERYTHING in a house.
I find dogs more fun to play with and normally are more loyal to their owners.

I grew up with dogs. I do like cats better. I think they are more intelligent. Cats can be just as loyal and affectionate as dogs iyou know what breeds to look for . Abyssinian is a good one for that. Also you can train a cat to use the humans toilet. Not so sure you can do that with a dog. Cats know when to back off and give you space while dogs you have to lock yourself in another room to get them to back off.

I am kind of an all pets person. I love all domestic animals. I own a cat and a dog and I love them equally, even though I am closer to the cat. The cat is always in my house, and many times he sleeps in the same bed with me. I love to have him around.. I also like my dog but I keep him outside. He is really beautiful and looks like a panda bear...

Totally a dog person and agree with you, dogs are very loving and expressive animals, while cats are very cold, the advantage of the cats is that it is more easy to train them in order for them to make their necessities not in any place, while dogs you have to walk them everyday, and it takes time to train them, but I still love dogs more than cats. Cats can care less if you got home or not, while dogs always greet you.

I love dogs rather cats. Dogs are real friend like.. My champ is 3 months old. He is so naughty and ma pet. Never stays without me..my follower haha. I dont like cats rather, they always change their mind. I remember my friends cat drinks all milk without her knowledge, which she was upset. I prefer Doggy!

I used to like both cats and dogs but, lately, I've become more of a dog person. This is mainly because I have the meanest cat on the face of the earth living in this house! She actually belongs to my youngest daughter but she didn't take her when she moved in with her boyfriend because he hates cats so I'm stuck with her. I've had other cats...nice cats...but they're gone now. I also have two dogs who are a constant source of entertainment and unconditional love, with some badness thrown in for good measure but they're always reeeeally sorry when they're bad. The cat, on the other hand, looks at us and says "Stooopid human".

I used to be cat and dog pet owner but the place where I live cats don't stay in one place as they roam around causing a nuisance to the neighbours. I therefore now have only a dog and a rooster and both get on quite well.

hi! I actually like them both- cats and dogs, and I have both at my home, by my parents. I really can't decide, which i prefer more, because they both are so cute and they make me laugh and feel great every time I play with them. From the cats and from the dogs I have favorite breeds, and I just can't decide which one I want to have more- the British shorthair grey cat or the Husky. these both are y favorite pets!

I prefer cats, but I also have a dog, but I like cats more because they are truthfully on themselves and have many kinds of moods and felling, just like people, if you do something bad to a dog he will not take his vengeance or remember you as enemy, but if you do something bad to a cat it will stick with it and will take it's revenge sooner or later, if they don't wanna play, they don't, if they don't wanna eat they don't, where dogs are always in one mood, they are always happy and playful, I just don't like the felling of being happy all the time, it gives no depth, it makes me feel unnatural you know ?
In my opinion "dog people" tend to be simple.
And "cat people" tend to be complex.
That is what I think.
