hey guys,
I always see this tag box every time I respond to a post, do you always tag your comments? what's the use of tagging your comments? how does it help?

I usually don't add any tags when responding to discussion. It would require additional time to think for possible tags. Also, there are usually enough tags added to discussions, so I don't find it necessary to add my own there.

actually i dont put any tag as i know that other members already put the same tag as what i have in mind so i just skip to it. its just the same anyway. i used to put tag before but i realized that i only waste my time knowing other member already put it.

hello Candyfairy!
Well, I always tag my comments, when I feel that there is something missing in the tags that the owner of the discussion or the other members have missed to tag. I also tag the discussions when I add something new and completely different from the discussion or something about it, that no one else has mentioned!

I am certainly new at lotting, but since I have started I have tagged everything that I have started. I sometimes do not tag replies. I am not sure of the purpose of 'tagging' but my thinking is it certainly would not hurt. I also assumed that the more tags you added the more possible lotters might find it via the search.

I used to skip tagging my comments. But I think that I had read somewhere else that it would affect your ranking or your points. So, now I make sure that I do tag every comment I make here on mylot.

Ehh, I don't usually tag my comments...I guess I figure if the discussion is already tagged, and the response is related to the discussion, then it shouldn't really matter. I don't know how it helps, since I don't do it, but I'd be curious to hear what other, more veteran members have to say.
