I have a Laptop/ Netbook that doesn't have a CD hard Disk. So when I buy a Router for wifi in my house do I need to to Install it on my computer if I do I don't want to buy a CD hardware Disk.
I rather just connect the Router to the Modem and have my WIFI in my house.. How is NETGEAR a good one or LinkSYM or however you call it a good one. ?????

I have a Netgear ADSL router in my home. I just plugged the phone line into it, configured it through a web based interface (easy once I had the settings) and I was good to go. I recently had to do this again because I messed up a setting whilst playing with the configuration. From resetting the device, it took about 10 minutes from no wifi to secured wifi. And most of those 10 minutes were looking for ISP settings using my mobile phone.
Netgear is a popular router, but the Linksys routers with a model that ends in L like (WRT54GL) are prefered by geeks because you can do a lot more with the firmware (the stuff that runs it).
And no, you should not need a CD to install it. If you're not connecting a device physically to your machine, chances are you won't need a CD.

Yeah, I bought a NETGEAR MNDR3300 very good it has high performance and very good range nice LED light display. the Signal range is awesome.. I would recommend it haha.. Just takes time to set things up.. you have to call NETGEAR unless you have done this already haha,, then they will do this step by step
