Hi,
I am going into the point directly, eliminating the theoretical part.
Step 1:Build some vocabulary. Not by reading books with bombastic language. You have to buy a vocabulary book that has at least a stock of 2500 words. The more, the better. Memorize all those words with the different meanings and usages. Do it first. Without sufficient vocabulary you won't understand a thing written in a standard grammar book. Once you memorize all the basic words you will be confident enough to start reading classic literature.
Step 2:Buy a grammar book if you don't already have one. Go through it everyday. Don't try to memorize a thing. Just try to understand that logic in it. English language is the most logically sound language where there is logic for everything. You have to go through some basic grammar only. Higher grammar courses are only for critics of English literature.
Step 3:There is a site named gutenburg.org. Go there and download a few classic literature by R.L.Stevenson, Anton Chekhov, Arthur Conan Doyle, Maupassant etc whichever you like. Go through them. Grow a habit of extensive reading. You may also try to interpret the sentences used by Mark Twin. He is one of the greatest humorous story writers till date. Once you start to like reading books try some non-fictions too. They are very concise sources to gather information from.
After completing all these steps try to write something. You won't even recognize them as your own writing. You will be amazed at the progress you've made so far.
God bless you

Hello Leavin! The best way to learn English is to be in constant communication with other people and to keep practicing how to converse. MyLot is a good place where you can beef up your English, vocabulary and grammar. All of us commit mistakes when speaking English so it's also important to take note of our mistakes and to correct them. It also helps to read a lot in order to practice correct word agreements and usage. Regards!

You're most welcome, friend! Oh yeah? How about online? I'm sure you have friends you can talk to. It's a good practice to be reading English books out loud as well!

enroll in English classes, and everyday English conversation would be the best way to be fluent in English. :)

My favorite language learning site is Busuu.com. You can use it to learn several different languages, as well as English. It is free but they also have a premium membership. I haven't tried the premium yet, so far just the free lessons and I love it!
You can even chat with people who speak the language you are learning.
If you haven't tried it, I recommend it. I think it is a great site.
Also, keep coming here to mylot. Starting and being a part of discussions will help your English. If you get English speaking tv show that can be helpful too.

I think the best thing to do would be to read books or any reading material. You can also learn the correct English grammar through the internet. There are a lot of free online English lessons now. The most important thing is to put to use what you have learned. Try writing or talking to people who speaks English more often. Mylot is also a good venue to practice your English. Here you can improve your English writing sklls and could also improve your spontaneity in putting your thoughts into writing.

hi! WEll, if you have money enough to afford a tutor you better find some, because it is the easiest and fastest way to learn it. the other way is to go in a country where the official language is English and stay there for an year or two, and you will definitely learn it! you can also use mylot, but I think if you don't have an idea from English it would be very hard for you!

Read more. Study and practice. Watch shows and movies over and over again until the accents is absorb unconsciously. You'll get used to it but do your share by continuous practice.
