Its really very Irritating, when someone to whom you cant say anything, may be you relative, boss, your customer,or any one who has an habbit of creating mess without reason!shouts at you with ones optimum level of frequency and pitch!what you do in that situation!and that also in front of some people!and when you tell to calm dowm, the person takes more afvantage of your being humble! What to do in this Situation?

It will be a lie if i will say i wont shout back. Definitely I will shout back to that person. I will ask why? and do you need to shout? Just to let him feel the feeling of being shouted. I hope i can calm down when that situation will come to me but so far i havent experienced such situation. GOd bless

I hate people who shouts at me. I used to have a dominating colleague who shouts at subordinates. It was horrible to work with her. Infact, I hated to see her every day at work. I felt so happy when she quit my company because I didn't want to see her face any more. Once she shouted at me for none my mistake and I shouted back to her. Everybody in the same room of the office heard that. We should not keep our mouth shut with these people otherwise they will take advantage.

Hi umit_umit,
I agree with you as sometimes when you try to calm a person down, it get worse that it is as he/she would shout higher or more. Some people believe that when you shout, you are right and your point is heard but most of the times it doesn't.
For me, I would tell the person in a calm way that there is no reason for him/her to talk to me this way.... It really depends on the situation and on the person as sometimes you might need to shout back for the person to listen to what he/she is saying...
Thanks

I think I react like most people do when someone shouts at them. I normally will shout right back at them. That way the person who shouted at you does not gain the upper hand.

I have this habit of delayed reaction. Oftentimes, i would say nothing though i feel like steam is getting out of my nose. And revenge is on my mind until i get vindicated.
There are times when i can react to it upfront and i really show this person how i can spew fire.
A lot of bully people thinks they can do things and can get away with it.Well it's about time that they should be leashed.

If this is the situation, I would just keep silent and listen to him. I will show him respect and at the same time, I will still serve him the best that I can with a smile because this would show that I am mature enough to handle those kinds of immature attitude of others. I would just think that he still needs more refinement of his or her character and people needs to be patient on hi/her.

Im only 21 and she's 86 but when my grandaunt shouts at me I only think, she can shout at me but she does not have a computer heehee. I try to think the humor instead of having resentment to that person.
