If you want to have babies from your indoor female cat, do you choose which male cat for her to mate? If it is a pedigree male, do you pay for it? In where i live, i can see newspaper advetisements or in online pet markets, listings of this sort. Say for example, "a beautiful male Blue Point Siamese cat available to mate a female. Please bring cat's health certificate. Visits are welcome". This ad is not for free, it has its resprective amount. Is it also like that in your place? Mating for pedigree cats costs something?

Some pedigree felines are worth a lot of money and stud fees are a normal charge.

For a pedigree (champion) cat or dog to mate, it usually costs something. Either it costs money or you can work out a deal for one of the kittens/puppies. I've never done this, although I have pure bred Shetland sheepdogs. Breeding, if done properly, can be a lot of work.

George and I already have two cats, both of which we believe to be fixed. (our female we aren't sure because we found her, but since she's never gone into heat we don't believe so). At any rate, we aren't breeding cats because we don't need more kittens we can't take care of. Nor do we have a space for them to live in safty. So we are glad that she's not in heat. I don't know if there are places that charge for cat-mating but I bet that there are some out there. Its like George says, if there is a way to make money off of something someone will find a way to do it.
