i guess it is with your company's firewall that prevents you from receiving gmail. have you checked the forwarding setup or the pop mail setting at gmail?

I have checked all these setting, and nothing seems to be wrong but I still can't use outlook for other accounts!
Maybe the firewall policy works!
Thanks all the same man!

The most likely problem is your company's security policy. They probably will not allow you to use an imported account on their server. Your work Outlook probably works through Microsoft Exchange Server and it is normally configured not to allow external accounts.

yeah, you sonds reasonable! For some reason, the firewall policy in my company can't be changed by normal employee, I am afraid! So maybe I can not use outlook for my gmail account! Thank you all the same man! Nice to meet you!

I am working on a hosting company, I deal with setting up emails on Outlook most of the time. I have not used gmail on Outlook however what I do know is that "As long as the settings are meet it should work"
The settings mostly needed are the following
1. Email address
2. Username : Which is the email address
3. Password: Password of the email address
4. Incoming mail server of the hosting provider : it is IMAP or POP settings (with the port number)
5. Outgoing Mail server which is the SMPT - with the port number
You could try and check again...
Also you could turn off the firewall you have on your end
About the Gmail I will try this later. Maybe I could add another feedback to you soon
