How big ( do you need ) your bag/handbag ?

I accompanied my sister in law shopping the other day. We browsed around the ladies handbag area. Usually I and her just love to get a medium size of a handbag. As long as our wallet, cellphone, and some other female stuff can fit in it without looking so bulgy.
But I know one of my other friend, she always need to get the big one. It's necessary for her to put more other stuffs in her handbag.
Sometimes I wonder why she need to bring all those unnecessary just for groceries shopping.
So how big is your backpack/handbag that you use daily?

I need my handbag medium size but not too big, enough for me to carry my GPS, phone, cosmetic bags, tissues...etc. I don't like large sized handbag, I would feel like a diaper bag.

i always have a big bag with me so i can put everything there and i will just carry only one bag. like if i wan to bring something from work then i will just put it inside my bag or if i want to buy something then same thing i will put it in my bag for easy carry so that theres no need for me to worry that i might misplace the other bag or other things i carry with my other hand.

when i was in high school, i used to have small shoulder bags..but when i reached college, it evolved from small to big shoulder bags..i love using big ones because you can carry all the things that you need..the only bad thing is when you needed something urgent, you can't easily find or get it..but even though it has that disadvantage, i still love big bags!..:-)

My handbag is a big one, but I need it to be. it's much more practical when you have kids. My youngest is still in nappies so I need to take a spare one with me wherever I go, and some wipes, and a snack just in case we get stuck somewhere. You need an awful lot of stuff with you when you have kids, and a little clutch bag just doesn't cut it.

hey! right now i am using a small wallet which i use whenever i go out! it can have only enough cash and few cards and my mobile! when i go out shopping or hang out with friends i take the big bags sometimes as it comes handy to use it for storing stuff. sometimes i store most of my friends stuff in my bag :) :) i simply love bags!! :) i am now using those big handbags for my college to carry books and lunch!! :)its a style statement now :)

I have two handbags.
One is a small one in which just my wallet, phone and keys would fit which I take with me when I go out alone or with husband. I also have another handbag which I take with me when I go out with my kids. Its big enough to hold a water bottle, napkin, a small tiffin box,a sanitizer,besides the mandatory comb, wallet,keys etc.
