Is newly announced reservation for women in India is fair? Well I dont agree, on one hand we say that men and women are equal then why all this. I do believe reservation should not be on the basis of gender, cast or religion only special facilities should be provided on the basis of economic status.

Yes, all discrimination is discrimination the idea of positive discrimination is a misnomer.
