What are some of your favorite ways to waste time?

None of us want to be productive all the time. I know that I certainly don't. So, I would like to know what you do to waste time. For me, I will play Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook over and over and over again. I will also pick up a book and read. I also like to open up photoshop and be creative with some of the thousands of pictures that I've taken of my children and my family. How about you, what do you do?

I love to read as well like I said above, I can't say since I was a child though I did as a child. When I write it's usually thoughts that come into my head, or something that's inspired by a game, movie or t.v. show.

I would love to someday be a novelist, but right now I know that to spend the kind of time writing that it would require is impossible because of the fact that I have the kids here and they really keep me from being able to devote the kind of time to writing that I would need.

Just like you I spend a lot of time on mylot and I'm a voracious reader, I've been that way since I was a child.

I bought 'zuma' a couple of years ago, and I have it on my computer. There was a time when I just wanted to zone out and not think of anything, I would just sit in front of the computer and play this game. You wouldn't believe how much time I've wasted playing that game. Thankfully, I've been cured, and I haven't played that in over a year.

We have that game on our computer and I've actually beat it several times. What is really funny about that particular game is that I wasn't the only one in our family that was addicted to it. Did you know that there is a sequel game now?

Yes! Even my 3-year old has started playing the game now. He's so happy he could reach level 2. I've seen the sequel, but I'm happy with the original. And the young guy wouldn't know the difference. He still has 12 levels to go through!

On a day when there are some clouds in the sky, but not too many, I like to lay on my back and look up and them to see what I perceive the clouds to be.

In my spare time I deal a lot with myLot, but I don't consider it as a waste of time. When I have spare time and I don't want to do anything stressful, I just lie on my sofa and watch the Discovery channel. Sometimes I even have a nap during that. I find watching that channel kind of "useful" form of wasting time, because there are many educating shows running. Sometimes I also play some games on PC or read the news online.

It is sad but true that I have a hard time doing nothing at all. I'm too ADD or something to be still for more than a minute or two at a time. I think the only time that I am actually still is when I am asleep.

I like Bejewelled2 I'm not sure what the blitz version is. Mine is a program on my desktop and when I am taking a break, I will put in a stint. I love how the jewels slide down.

I can see why you don't use it then. I like that it is a really short period of time that I am wasting. However, I also like the regular version of the game as well.

The Blitz version is a game on Facebook where you have one minute to score as many points as possible. It is really, really addictive.

I see. I like the idea. I don't like face book applications though ,they have ominous warnings about everyone being able to get to your profile and I would rather not have my profile or information about me anywhere where I am not the creator . The action version of the game is my favourite.

Hi dorannmwin, I'm not a hard working person all the time as well. Even during my leisure I don't spare all of it reading and typing post here or reading as well. I like having fun playing computer game. I'm indulgent in playing Zuma Deluxe most of the time. As this really time consuming and shift to play Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook. Yeah, it's nice that every slot last for a single minute only. So that I can play it again and again and stop at any time after every limited minute as well I do like watching my son and nephew playing farmville, restaurant city, etc. I know sitting too long in front of the pc or on the reclining chair is not good for our health. I therefore would like to hanging around the nearby hypermarket enjoying the air con available there. The weather here is scorching hot year in year out. And this relaxing walk could help to promote the blood circulation at the same time Have a nice day and happy posting

Hopefully you could become the member of the local gym very soon. It's a good way to exercise the muscle, promote the blood circulation and keep the body healthy and fit I usually go for jogging or brisk walk at the neighborhood for forty minutes or so in the evening. I feel really relaxed after soak in a sweat

I'm hoping to get in at the YMCA because it is convenient to our house and they also have provided childcare. Plus, there are classes that I could get my children in as well.

It is because of the fact that a sedentary lifestyle is not healthy that I would like to be able to get a membership at a local gym, but I have yet to find one that is right for me.

Mine would have to be playing farmville on facebook. I remember when I first joined facebook I used to think that it was stupid how people spent so much time on games like that. But than my husband joined and kept telling me how it was just mindless fun and very addicting as well, lol. So I joined and can't leave the game alone now. I'm not ALWAYS on it since I do have a life and things to do but when I do have time I will play for a few minutes and it really is fun to do absolutely nothing but play a game for a little bit to get your mind away from the hectic day.

That definitely is the truth with the games on facebook. They are inexplicably addicting and they are also a good way to pass a few minutes while you are attempting to release stress.

Hello there:-) Good question you have here. One of my favorite ways to kill time is Twitter using my mobile phone. I love Twitter so much that it can save me from boredom and with awkward situations. Instead of pretending to text in awkward moments I grab my phone instead and tweet about anything. Same with boredom, I usually just grab my phone to tweet something. My other favorite ways of killing time are blogging, eating, sleeping, reading a book, watching movies, listening to my ipod. Yes other than mylotting, it's so nice to be a bum too :-)

I don't understand twitter which really stinks because I think that I would like to be able to use it but no one that I know uses it and I have no one to explain it to me.

Yes, sometimes we really need to waste our time to relax. In my case I like to waste time readin some book, comic, or watching some movie. I also like to use the internet for a while, maybe post in some forums, work on my blog, etc. Wasting your time a little is good to help your brain to relax

I wish I had more time to waste - hee hee!! Free time is too precious over here - but ok, there's always pockets of time here and there. As many have already said, I think I like wasting my time on myLot . . . and also on Facebook. That's probably all I really have time for online . . . although I still go to that survey site - but it's not like I can be there too long (depending on if I qualify for a survey or not). Sometimes I will also search for old music videos on YouTube and favorite them. Back to Facebook, I do Super Poke Pets when I can . . . take care of my pet and shop for him - hee hee.

A while back my husband bought me this really neat software for the computer whereby I can record music off of the internet without doing file trading and stuff and I spend a lot of time on you tube with that software to build back up my music collection.
