Do you use skypee ?

I don't use skype. I use Yahoo Messenger to communicate with my friends who are living so far away from me. So I can't share my experience in using skype. :)

Hi smartbrain69, I used skype for long distance calling and this software is a good alternative for international dialling service. You can simply chat for free if the other person is also on Skype, or you can pay a minimal amount (they offered either a subscription based or a credit based) and enjoy a low rate of $0.01 or even lesser per minute to make calls to residence or mobile phone line. The only cons that I find is that at times, the reception is not that good. You might find the person voice (using Skype person) being chopped off. But for a 5 mins call which saved up a lot of $$ compared to using other service, a 10s issue is not that big impact for me. Cheers

i have a satellite connection so the lag is too much for me. have you talked to relatives in Iraq or someplace like that? yo talk and wait,1...2...then they talk and wait. international calls would probably suck, but if you had say a cable to cable connection on the same land mass, you would enjoy no long distance rates and video calls as well
