Hello,You said a month ago that owner selected your bid don't have any communication with you?So it's their fault just send support ticket to freelancer.com admin and share your problem with him, they will send final warning to that owner and after that you just simply close that project and as fault is not your i'm sure freelancer.com admin will help you,and i suggest when you close the project from your side rate the owner negative so that he don't repeat same behavoiur with new freelancers and if you like working with freelancer and find difficult to work in scriplance then it's ok, freelancer.com have many projects to work.but at present as i said just send support ticket to admin and close the project, everything will all right.hope this help you.

It's ok,we all are here to help each other,& in any freelancer site project can be cancelled by programer or owner.just follow the guidelines which admin will send you, just close or cancel the project from your side,& everything will be ok,it's new experience for us but not for admin. It's owner fault that he did not even communicate with you about project.so may be after your action he may contact you,but whatever i suggest ask admin that you simply want to close that project and to do something for your -$5 balance.
