Who is the first person on your mind when you're sick or in pain?

I am out of my native place from last 8 years and visit my home twice in a year. The first person in my mind is my Mother when I am not well, its not only when I am unhealthy but also when I am depressed, I feel that mom should have been near to me too console and boost. Thanks to God, I am good and healthy but I miss my mom. Love you mom :)

when i feel pain or is in dire situation, i think of my wife. she's the only one i can trust to help me in such a situation, particularly when the situation is of the health kind. she knows well my ailments, even my medications. besides, my doctors know her and she can call them. but when i am dreaming, i think only of the clouds where i float and see the world down below me... but that's another topic... off-tangent... sorry...

hell0 Cloud! when I am sick or in pain, i always think about the people i love the most- my family. the people I have grown up with and who have given me all I need. people who have supported me in every of my undertakings, the people who have given up from many things, just to know that I am fine. When I still was with my girlfriend I also thought of her, but now we are not together anymore and I only think of my family :)

Obviously its my sweet hubby. He always be with me everytime when i am sick or having great pains. He takes leave from home, sit beside me and he does all the house works too. He is so sweet and caring, i feel as if he is my mom. I would rather sleep on him the whole day..i would feel much much better. I would feel am lucky enough!

Hi friend, it seems you love your mom a lot, like most of us do. It is said GOD can not be present everywhere to take care of all human beings so he created Mothers. Yes mother os a form of GOD that takes care of her childre and stand by them in all their bad times not pnly physical sickness. The person that want to next to me when i am sick is ofcourse my mom and next is my better half for sure. Because these two wonderladies have pampered me till day. Happy myLotting and keep smiling.

I have never really been that sick or in that much pain that i should think about others and want to be with me all the time. But if i do sometime in the future - most likely my sister - the closest to me.

Actually there isnt anyone really...When I'm that sick or in that much pain I dont want anyone around me..I hate being babied for starters and secondly having ppl near me just adds to my bad mood becuase I find it annoying LOL. I'm one of those ppl who prefers to suffer alone and in silence

I'm actually suffering from a possible sinus infection right now and the person that keeps coming to my mind is my father. It is really odd that it should be this way, because he's been gone for fifteen years. However, I know that he was a PA and he was the one that took the most care of me when I broke my leg as a child. I always seem to miss him the most when I'm not feeling well, even though I must admit that there isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of him.

I'm also staying alone for 3 years ago I miss my family every time but when I'm in pain or i'm sick that time only my mom comes in my mind and I feel like crying that I talk to her and I try to decrease my pain.

Answer is typical but not the answer...apparently...MY MOM..it is a proverb..when you are in pain..then the person to whom you love most comes in your mind...and i think..about 90% people remind their mom when they are in pain...because there is no one in the world who care more then their mom...When i fall in sick.. i doesn't need medicine..to being well..My mom is the best medicine for me...You can't believe..when she kept her hand on my head it really gives a gracious feeling to me..and i felt that i'm not sick...i get very much emotional when i writes this things..really.. Every species living in the world..mom is there to help them...we see in the tv how the tigress or lioness or any other females species cares to their children...Having no motive behind them...very touchy..

The first person I would think about when I am sick is my dad but he passed away a year ago. Now when I am sick there are times I cry because I want my dad, but I know in reality he could not be with me.

Hello cloud When ever i am sick or in bed,or there is mishap, the first sound that comes from my mouth and rather hear is, 'Maa', means mother!!! My grandmother and my girlfriend this are the people i want to be with when I'm sick. Most of the time I can handle sickness and pain alone but if it is extreme I want them to be with me. It gives me comfort and security

I don't know, maybe my mom too. Haven't been sick or been in much pain so far, thank God I'm healthy!

I'm exactly the same as you - when I'm sick, the first person I think of is my mom or now my mother-in-law because I know she'd take just as good care of me! That's probably not the best thing, though, because now that I'm married, I probably need to think of my husband. He takes good care of me when I'm sick, and I know he'll have compassion on me to not make me cook or anything like that when I'm not feeling well, but I don't get sick too often so that's definitely a plus! When my hubby is sick, of course, he wants me to care for him. Everyone wants a person to care for them when they're ill. Nobody likes to be by themselves when they're not well. I always think of my husband when I'm sick in that I'm so glad I'm the one sick and not him! I'd much rather have the sickness than someone else. Thanks for asking!

I also just like you. I will remember the mother, when I was ill. I am already married. but if the pain I still always remember my mother. maybe everyone will feel the same, because the mother would be more concerned, and properly care for their children when sick.

Hey missy, When I fall ill or get wounded, I definitely remember my mother first. Because there's no substitute for mother in this world. I haven't fallen ill seriously after 2004. At the end of 2003 I became affected with typhoid and had to suffer in bed for long 3 months. By this time my mother was always on my side and took care of me. That's why Islam gave much more importance to the dignity of a mother. Have a nice day.

I think of my grandmother quite a lot while i am sick and when i do make a call to her, she does come home to see me, which is the best part.

I like this topic =) hehehe.. If i am sick i would like to think about my crush because she the only one who could make me happy when i imagine her in my mind it would somehow ease the pain and hopefully the sickness will go away like the wind. I want her to take care of me even if its only in the imagination. hehehe too much of the memories back to the real world ^^
