Hello everyone!
My recent obsession in the world wide web (except mylot,of course) is downloading movies. But once I've downloaded it, I don't watch it directly on my laptop. I prefer to burn it into a dvd and watch it in my television set. I know it's hard work and time consuming compare to watching it directly to your monitor, but I find it satisfying if I watch it in my tv screen. That's my thing right now.
So are you like me who burns movies into dvds before watching it, or watch it directly in your laptop?

I have a descktop pc so my screen is bigger and i watch movies on it and i download movies a lot. I used to burn some movies to dvd and watch it on tv but usually i had problems with subtitles not working on my dvd player or movies in wrong format or stopping so i don't burn anymore. I do watch movies on my gf's laptop two and it ain't as good as on desktop but still watchable.

Hi slovenc1,
I burn even without subtitles and I usuallly have no problem in the format. It is usually NTSC mode and my dvd player can read it.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi anurag,
I agree that movies can take up a lot of disk space, so it's best to have them in dvds for backups. Thanks for sharing!

Hello princess tiara,
I almost always burn movies into dvds, but not to see them in my television but to keep them as a souvenir. I really admire certain kinds of movies and whenever I download one of them I prefer to keep them so that my friends can see them and invariably admire my taste. I prefer to see them on my desktop as this sounds more personal. I can see movies on my desktop almost anytime without disturbing other members of house. I can put headphones, and I can pause the movie and even shutdown the computer. When I wish to see the rest part, I just turn on my computer, open the player and press Space. This is quite comfortable for a lazy person like I am.
God bless you

Hi getbiswa,
Yup, burning into dvds makes a great souvenir especially if you really like the movie. I have a small netbook with a small screen so I prefer to watch it on my tv to appreciate it more. It's nice you have your desktop to provide you some privacy while watching. Thanks for sharing!

Hi chinotek,
You're right, it's nice to watch with your loved ones so I put it in dvds. I burn using Nero, I make sure it is NTSC mode coz my player can only read NTSC.
