My father was told 2 years ago. We don't see each other much, and my parents are divorced. My mother was told 4 weeks ago. Do you remember the last time?

Last night when i talked to my mom on the phone. I try to tell my parents that I love them as much as i can. My mom and I aren't real close but I love her very much. My dad, he is just such a cool guy and has always been a good friend to me. We have seen some rough times but I dont know how much longer my mom and dad are going to be around so it's very important to me that I try to tell them whenever possible.

I tell my mom that I lover her at least once a day! Mainly because my dad lost his life 9 years ago and I never did say I loved him too many times. Never take your parents for granted, you are here becasue of them.

My condolences... On another note, I don't feel I take my parents for granted. I don't know if you were assuming that or not, but I had to comment back. There are some people born that were not planned or wanted, and treated poorly as a child. I happen to be one of them. No pity. Just wanted to make that clear. I love them, but I'm still very hurt.

Today, I was with my mom today, we went to lunch with a group of ladies from church. Then I helped her rake leaves. She brought me home and as I got out of the car I told her I love you. I spend alot of time with my mom and tell her all the ime that I love her. Who knows were my dad is, I haven't seen him in 30 yrs.

Sorry to hear about your dad. I'm glad you had a wonderful day with your mother. I envy that closeness. (not in a bad way) And raking leaves is so much fun. :-)

I told my mother today. We talk almost every day and always end the conversation with, Love you. Now my Dad and I dont get along as well. So it has been a few months for him.

It is a shame,I never say I love you to my parents. For tradition and custom reason, we are too conservative to say love to our parentss though we keep it in our heart.
