This morning I logged on facebook and I saw I had a messege from someone I didn't know, waiting for me. As I opened the messege from him- I was shocked to find a hatefull content, with some very low words, telling me how he wish me and my kind will all die soon.
To be clear, I had NEVER contacted him, NEVER seen his profile till this day, and I don't believe I EVER did something to piss him off.
I had never before seen such racism... Even though I'm not naive, I'd like to believe that I am living in a society that don't tolerate this sort of stuff.
I have reported him to Facebook, and I hope they'll do something about it...
How about you? have you ever 'bumped' into these sort of things? what would you do if it had happened to you?
Please share...
Thanks.

Well, these are the "monsters" of the internet. Just ignore him and keep your private info secure. It's good you have reported him to Facebook...I hope you took a screenshot as a proof.

My privat info was and still is secure... apparently, he is a friend of a friend of one of my friends... so when my friend tagged me and the rest of his friends on some stupid photo, that guy probably went to check it and saw my name too...
Wow, this explanation was confusing!

Sadly, there are still too many people out there who will hate someone just because of the way they look. I'm sorry to hear you were subjected to something like that. I have had people not like me literally from the day we met for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, about the best thing you can do is ignore them because there's no talking sense or anything like that.

I would definately have reported the person too! Good for you for doing that..Sadly we live in a world where it IS tolerated..granted not nearly as much as it use to be, we're making progress but to an extent I do believe its still tolerated to some degree...
