What operating system (OS) are you using?

I'm just curious about the operating system you guys use. My laptop has 2 OS in it - Windows XP and Ubuntu Karmic. I use XP for games and MS Office (because I hate OpenOffice) and I use Ubuntu for school, internet, music and movies. I don't use XP for internet anymore because I really get irritated when I have to reformat because of a virus infection. So do you guys use Windows, Linux, Mac or do you dual-boot like me?

still i loved with xp ^^ it's light ... and match with other programs ... that's all and for server i'd like ubuntu hardy heron ... ^^

I use win7 and ubuntu. Before win7 I used windows xp for a long time. I think win7 is better than xp though xp is very good already. The advantage of ubuntu is that we don't have to worry about virus at all.

I started using windows vista but switched to windows 7after it went out of the market and it works perfectly fine. Need to download though security essentials in the microsoft site for virus protection and so far it works great.

Hi kokowit Currently I am using Windows 7 ultimate. Earlier I was using Window's XP, I feel the current is somewhat better.

I'm using Windows 7 in my desktop and Ubuntu Netbook Remix in my netbook.

I use Windows XP for quite some time and I don't really see a problem with it. You just have to use the proper if not the best anti-virus software out there. You have mention Linux, Ubuntu and Mac which are also good OS'. For me Windows XP is the best because it's very user friendly.
