We all know that our body is so sensitive that sometimes we will feel itch. When I was a child ,my mom will scrach for me with her own hand and I immediately feel comfortable after that. But when I grow up,I won't have my mom around anymore and I need to take care of things like that all by myself you do.Sometimes I will sak my frineds to help me out if they won't mind. But someday when I walk by a shop,I saw some creative stuff which is more helpful for problem like this. The thing called "don't beg for help" which is long stick and have small wooden hand on top of it.It is not expensive and it is so helpful each time when I feel itch again. It is sure a great product since I don't have to ask for help from others because with this long thing,I can help myself ^_^.What about you?

Yeah, I know how frustrating it can be to feel an itch but yet can't reach it to relieve it. But in this situation, not being able to scratch my back is not an issue for me because my hands can reach my back quite easily. If my right hand doesn't reach the itch location, my left hand will be able to reach it. The same applies vice versa.
However, in the imaginary situation where my back feels itchy and my hands can't reach it, the most probable solution that I would use to try and relieve that itch would be to use a long instrument (pens or pencils are my first choice, and a ruler is a second choice if the first choice doesn't work) to "extend" the length that I am able to reach. This should be ample to solve the problem, but if it still doesn't, I might just wriggle my back on the ground or just get someone near to give my back a scratch. I guess and hope there won't ever be a situation where nothing works!

Wow. I know that thing! My grandma have that same thing! It's a long wooden stick with a small hand at the end. LOL. That thing is funny.

Hey, I've had the same thing when I was a kid. When my back itched and I wasn't able to reach the itching area with my hands, I asked my mother to help me. Now I haven't had such itch for a long time. I usually can reach the itching are on my own. However, I would have some itching in a location I couldn't reach with my hands, I think I would use any nearby object suitable for scratching myself.

I'm actually very lucky that I'm flexible and there isn't a place on my back that I can't reach to be able to scratch on my own. However, your discussion did remind me of the little plastic back scratchers that we used to be able to get when we were kids as prizes for carnival games and such. We treasured those things and we would get so upset when something happened to them. I think that the wooden one that you've described would be awesome because of the fact that it would probably be far more durable than the plastic ones to which I've alluded to.

i would probably use the back of a chair or something to scratch my back where it would not be reached. or mabey get someone else to scratch it for me. or mabey use a back scratcher if i ever had one. those work pretty well for needing to scratch in cirtain hard to reach areas.

Many years ago my brother gave me a back scratcher like that, a little wooden hand on a long stick, and I still have it now. It's the perfect solution to the problem

Hi, wildlittlefan. I will usually ask my husband or my kids to scratch my back. And, I will just try to do it myself. My grandmother once had a back hand scratch device and it worked quite well on my back. I love getting my back rubbed and scratched.

I also use the door frame, a pen, or one of my books to scratch it. One day I'll buy one of those scratchers and use it.

hell0! I think i will ask someone fro my friends or relatives who is around me to scratch me, because I can't really bear when my back itches me and I can't reach it. But, i also have bought exactly for that purpose a special scratching stick from the store, so that if there is no one around me, that I could scratch myself by my own

Itching is something irritating - but it is totally natural and you have to make yourself ease by finding our some remedy.
The one which you told is something which happens rarely - and if this occurs I try to find our some for help, and if nothing is available during this critical time I just take a foot rule and help myself to eradicate that troubling itch.

I will used the corner if my cabinet, wall, and door. sometimes i used something long like ruler, wooden stick, or even pencil and ballpen. All of that are my special gadget to scratch my back and feel comfortable.
